Thank you collin. I figured the "extra content" was the planned DLC, but i though there were still others tracks (more Pure/Pulse remake) in SL's hand.

Plus I imagine that levels of this detail would take a while to make. Possibly. It's not like modeling Karbonis for the original.

:clap Thank you so much Colin! You see, all I needed was a good reason to go out there and collect a pretty black WipEout box, and the idea of racing along, blowing weak-shielded barrel-rollers out of the race is a really good reason. (Assuming I can catch up to them of course.)

Oh well, TT was never my favourite part of the game (except maybe in original WipEout, because it was perfectly trancelike...), so yay! Good news!

The movies above can be downloaded. I'm not sure if they are the same as the GT one's posted above. I'm having trouble watching flash movies in my browser.
The lighting is really stunning. The craft also looks a little floaty. I usually play in first person though, so I could be imagining it. The rear of the craft seems to be moving all over the place.
The Blue clip is an older one, and the Orange pilot looks really out of his league. ;) Still awesome to see the HD Icaras!
Something interesting, in the second GT gameplay vid, when the player gets close behind the qirex, it looks an engine flare is clearly visible. At about 40 seconds.
At the first GT video, close to the end when he uses the sheild, the sound seems different, and kinda cheesy. I dont really like it.
