If I don't find problems I hope to be there for friday :D
friday..hmmmm.....you might see me around - guess I'll have to finish my homework early:banzai
PS> a word from the wise: It's always best to have a full tank of fuel in your car when taking a long trip >P
Nicely said Ben :)
Dag & me will be there for Friday session
....
and
....
in 5 weeks we will be together playing at 20 :cowboy : no need KAi with no more shitty bloody DWL disconnection
It would be nice if all 20 of you jumped onto one connection for a huge kai tour - then we'd only have to worry about that one connection:pc
Will anyone be on tomorrow for the usual Friday session?
I probably won't (it'd be a miracle if i was :)), but you know me I only show up now and then anyway:D
I'll try my best, need to set up the connection again after installing a new motherboard
Count me in for tonight! :pirate
If I am lucky my PSP wants to take part of the races, too.
Dag & me will be there too, starting around 21.00 GMT :cowboy
Last friday it was very interesting with RR & YS who were extremely fast on dedicated tour : beating me easily :blarg ( OK Anthony blasted me twice on a row on that delta ... lol so strange not getting any points when starting the 3rd race of a tour :pirate )
Time for me to get a substitution ship :D
btw hope your sudden disconnection will stop tonight ,Stefan
Definlatley no kai for me tonight due personal reasons! cos me and cool lover had been up since 4am this morning.
The bottom line is we are fine!
stevie:)
well after two or three weejks tom and me are online for feridasy night kai and nobody is bweeing ready to compete our challenges.รถ thats very sad are you all practicing wipeout 1 for the convention in amsterdam?
I couldn't play on Friday I had very little sleep on the Thursday night and was totally screwed by about 8pm on the Friday
Don't you worry about it RR. Judging by all the typos dan's made in his post, he had already drunk way too much Vodka Energy last friday night. I guess that we wouldn't have been much competition to you guys on kai anyway...:beer
I will be on kai from hopefully thursday night cos I have not played much on any wipeouts due I was extremely busy doing other things but I`m just about to start decorating on my son`s room this week! because I want it to completed before convention starts.
stevie:)
I must recognize i haven't been on kai recently , since last time on friday session the 23rd of feb with dag, borell & RR we played from 10 to 1 am . Last friday Dag was in south of France : so no kai for me, but i quickly make few races with Mu5 and we did Del & me some impressive fights together yesterday end of aternoon.
Ahhh guys ...no more bloody Kai disconnections when we all meet at Dam :hyper , btw this friday Dag & me will be honoured to fight with anybody who wants ;)
See ya there fellow pilots :)
Hey guys, just passing by to say hi. I've kinda forgotten about Pure for a while but today a friend I and Mr.X introduced to the game a few monts ago came back to town and we got together for a few casual races. After a few duels we started directly on Ascension and the the game was a fantastic triple draw with everyone at same points. One of the best games ever, especially with offline laggles play (kinda - PSP wlan still lags a bit).
Anyway the session has been mad fun for quite a while. MrX being the strongest one graciously played with his first love Puma instead of Triakis, I juggled a bit of Goteki, Tigron and Vanuber and turbo, the least seasoned player, but still an extremely quick learner, played mostly Triakis. All fun and all, but the more I played the more I began loosing my nerves, becoming depressed at every situation where I died totally at random. Sure, statistically the best will win in the long run, but I just couldn't take it... Frustration had the better of me. Once I even turned off my PSP after bouncing flipper-style on bombs and going from leading with almost full energy to dead. Better then smashing the PSP into the wall, which was, in those few moments, a very close alternative. Pfff. Anyway,... point of this all, besides telling everyone we're still alive is: I bow down to everyone who is able to enjoy the game as fully as you do, even when getting smashed by three random quakes after we did our best, played optimally for a whole race against a better player then us and totally "deserved" the win; and other regular nerve-wrenching stuff Pure can and will deliver. I know, it's a game and sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. But it really takes some freaking positive will to stay sane sometimes. Kudos, you're all winners. :+
I really hope you have a kickass time at the meeting. Borut and I have considered visiting but we just didn't find any viable airline solutions. Today, despite all of the frustration, I've rediscovered the greatness of multiplayer WipeOut and regret we cannot join. Again, have a great time and take care. :beer
I'll be available to play every night this week :D
Yes sometimes loosing is very painful especially if you lead most of the race then get quaked 3 times on the last 2 laps I've had that and though, damn it you stupid game how unfair is that to let them have all the powerful weapons but hey just more reason to keep playing so you can get rid of that rage by killing an opponent on the next race for me a kill has the same sort of high satisfaction level as a win, especially if its asa lol
That's good news there, RR! I guess I can be online from about 10 pm german timezone (= 9 pm uk?) tonight. I'll try to catch you on MSN when I'm starting up my system.
Haven't played online for ages.
So, who wants to play now?
Is anybody playing kai this weekend? :)
Definately playing all day tomorrow for practice for the Dam - Anyone up for Kai 'Super Sunday' :)
