I would be cool that if you had the ps3 online and you beat a wr on speed you get a uniqe color for example mirror, if you get the most points you get shiny gold. and if you get the most zones you get a rainbow.
that makes if cool, because when you got a new wr you know because of the colors.
I btw got a new vid of me on v-K getting into supersonic. But I crashed around 79. And I want to do some clean laps in the supersonic level.
Something pretty unusual has happened a couple of times in Zone Battle. When I've died and re-spawned the colours have been (Pure Four) Supersonic :eek
It's happened twice, most recently earlier this week when I was having a spam race with Jan (one of the silliest things I've yet to do :lol). This time it happened to be at Mallavol, but the other time it was on a normal HD track - Metropia if I remember rightly.

Also, I don't think I know what that "Barrier Prediction Unit (BPU) displayed on
your HUD" is. Likely since I'm too busy smacking into walls to actually look at the HUD...
I need some ZB help haha. Probably just zone in general though.

btw I never seen the max speeds on the tracks. that would be cool.
on V-K my fastest speed that i remember was 1535 got around zone 82 that time. We can do a challange for that to to get the highest speeds on a track.
I did a test in singel race on phantom and if i used a turbo on a booster i could not get higher then 1390 or so. so that means that supersonic is always turbospeed+ nice to know.
Think or the top three segments as the lanes on the track. You can no doubt figure out the rest. :)Quote:

i (well, my prepared pad) finally reached the last zone, still supersonic :(
no photos this time, but some numbers:
zones - 3399
perfect zones - 1
laps - 0
perfect laps - 0
max speed - 2399km/h (obviously a bug, must be something about 10000+km/h)
speed pads - 54286
time travelled - 9.59.99 (obviously a bug, took almost 10h)
distance travelled - 4.151km
score - 9829928
loyalty points - 17010
i must say, im a bit disappointed. i really was hoping to reach the final zone class. now it's obvious, studio liverpool has added the last zone class just for zone battle mode with the fury dlc add on. now im convinced, no1 will ever get 'there' in normal zone mode, unless a new glitch is found, which allows u to do countless zones.
Still, good effort there Jan. At least we now know (or at the least have a good idea of) what's at the end of the rabbit hole :P
What zone 3399 is the last zone? I always thought that i could race forever as long as my skills were good(UBER!!!) enough!Quote:

my 3399 zones-run was set with 576i 50Hz/fps
now, that i play on 1080p 60Hz/fps, i made another run(with exactly the same setup).

LOL... how is that even possible? you must need to be doing at least 10 laps a second at zone 3000.
it's possible with XXXXX of the game. u have to use the XXXXX glitch. i did it not for the record, but for the search of the 'secret' zone (mach2 or hypersonic). i wont tell how to do it correctly, and im always using an offline-only account for these runs. u can read about it here http://www.wipeoutzone.com/forum/sho...t=5218&page=50

So did you come out of the glitch and try to actually get round the track at that speed? How was it?
it was an absolute impossible task, lol.

Piloting at that speed would be nuts and impossible to keep the control of the ship even for a 1/10 of second. :P
Thanks for showing us all this, JF; I always was wondering how fast would be go the ship at over the thousand zone.
hey, i'll try to do several short movies with just a lap or so around zone 100/200/300...1000, if possible :D
should be interesting to watch how fast a human can handle the zone mode ;)
maybe we can make a challenge out of it, hehe.
complete a whole lap at zone xy on anulpha pass using the XXXXX glitch to get as far as needed to start ur attempt.
