Looks stunning and the idea of the Union Jack works just perfectly. One thing dough : if I wouldn’t know that the pilot is british I wouldn’t think of the UK flag.
Maybe you could bring it to look a bit more like this http://www.flags.net/UNKG.htm ? I guess you know what I mean.

I just love all this retro-beauty. I would be proud to fly Qirex AAX`s Goteki online, and would even consider giving AGS and Feisar a test-fly for those awesome retro skins by GTAce and Dogg. :clap

Ricanbleu, you're right about the Union Jack. I was originally going for the simplicity but it becomes pointless if people don't know what it is. So here's the revised version -

I think your iron Feisar is just wonderful, QirexAAX. One of my faves.

Nice work Dogg. It was ace already but the flag is definitely more recognisable now. As with GTAce's AG-Sys skins I can't appreciate it as much as I might, as I am totally unfamiliar with wipeout '1' but that doesn't make it look any less cool.

Absolutely not. For some reason with that red it looks a bit like a chav's trainer.

REALLY beautiful presentation out there AXX. The last part can still be worked in terms of graphics, but I guess it is quite hard to make something look like 2208 isn’t it ? Also the label under the Future press statement still reads 2008. But these are just details. The story and the pictures are state of art. Superb job!

Dogg Thang - That Feisar is "Incredible"..... Kudos to you, and please keep on making these incredible skins, they're great just to look at, let alone race with! :)

GTAce - Great skins, and love the colours! They really suit the AG-Sys.

QirexAAX - As usual, teriffic skins, and wonderful colours! Nice one.

i will add a new catagory called "classic" skins or something and then probably place all retro skins under there, not catagorised by teams, but i will be able to move them myself so its all good :)

This is a VERY and i mean VERY early work in progress of my wipEout 1 Qirex.
A lot of work because of the shape, impossible to copy the original one 100%...

Awesome ships guys, really impressive.

Ive never been one to dabble with photoshop, my most testing skills come from Microsoft Paint :P

Can you actually import images into the editor or can you only work with the tools there? Also I found the colour scheme was set for each section of the ship and only when you complete blank canvas the ship can you start messing around- otherwise you are altering the specific colours?!

To be brutally honest I can only see me using some user created skins because my attempts would look lamer than the defaults lol.

the colors are set for each ship when it first loads, but once you make the craft a solid color, you can pick the colors for the other 15

and yes, you can import/export between the editor and photoshop ( or ms paint in your case :) )

It's a very early WIP shot, but you get the idea. I've still gotta add some shading and detail, and logos and such, gonna give it the 2097 Feisar logo and some personal tag or sumat :D
