They'll still be on the track surface, though, but I loved the colour-changing even better - wonder what it'll do at Zen speed.
Class starts shortly, but I will keep track in the long, 3 and a half hour interim between classes :g

No barrel roll disabling option, Q#*&$*#&$.... but retro HUDs!! Argghh, ElHabib, you were supposed to make up my mind for me!!
Sounds so gorgeously almost perfect! Like the last two games did...
and then there were the barrel rolls...
Yeah I was hoping for a option to disable BR's :(. Well it can't be that perfect. To be honest I'll accept new HUDS over the option to disable BR's any day.
Agh, totally forgot to ask him about PS2 Pulse. Will do tomorrow, promise!
please do! i'd love to know some solid info on pulse ps2 as well! :nod
That sure was the quickest hands-on I'd seen.
...and the least substancial :/
anyway, I'm back home, sorry I didn't get a hold of Tony again, so I couldn't ask him about voice chat and about the PS2 Pulse. Somebody mentioned seeing custom liveries in the trailer - I don't have official info on this, but it's pretty safe to assume that wipEout HD will NOT have a livery editor. Once you see the full fidelity of those ships up close, you will understand that it's just WAY too detailed to be customiseable.
Well the only unknown right now is voice chat. Rob implied that the PS2 Pulse conversion was pretty much canned.
I think I mentioned it too. It's just common sense really, you can't expect to be able to do a high resolution texture and bump mapping with an online skin editor like Wipeout Pulse's. It requires powerful editing software.
ive read in a few places that it WILL support voice chat.... see my post about coop racing, its in the features list
