If you can perform it without totaly loosing your line, it's advantageous.
You can do it when you take the right turn tight, but it's a little harder than when you take it wider (bump is higher at the widest place). ;)

Seriously nice work the way you pulled off those last 2 BRs leungbok. How many laps does it take in a session before that comes off so well?
About succeeding on those BRs mate, in fact it's intuitive at the begining. I "feel" that i have enough air to try something. And i succeed once, after lot of sessions i succeed twice, lol. And then i start to search how it works, what's the good line and wich input-and if necessary sideshift-timing etc.
I apply too some logical rules : nose up (sometimes it must be maintained a little bit), sideshift helps too, and sometimes the L-R-L or R-L-R must be anticipated and very quickly done, the angle and line of the ship is important too, and some BRs absolutely needs speed so don't miss the speedpads just before (not the case on vin r ;)).
I think that believing you can do it helps too, lol.

Immediately after I uploaded my first Wipeout video and posted it in this thread, someone signed up with the YouTube account "Koleax." Since the account has not been used at all since then, I feel like it's a fellow Wipeout player who just wanted to block me from using it.
If it were being used, I would just forget about it. They got to the name on YouTube first. Maybe they like the name? That's nice, since I made it up on my own. No hard feelings.
Since it's not being used, I just wanted to say-- if it's someone here, be a good sport. I'm going to be uploading several interesting videos concerning the photo mode bug and it'd be nice to use that account.
well, a "badtest" already existed when i created my youtube account. Short names are often already existing on the most successfull social sites.

Does anyone keep their videos on their pc after they have made them? I'm keeping mine just in case but I'm running out of space and my external HDDs are all full. Any ideas? Maybe I could just upload ghosts instead :lol
I normally delete them once they're up, but I still have the original tutorial videos as they're much better quality than the uploaded ones. Plus I've already deleted all the components for them anyway so it's all I have left of them.

Are your vids in HD, Yeldar? If not, you could space-save by re-encoding the video to a lower bitrate. You'd lose some quality, but not too much... I've got a couple of videos that go for 1:30'ish which are only about 11MB, and the quality is acceptable YT-wise.
That's basically like a fairly long or a well encoded mp3 track...
Or if that's what you're already doing, I'd probably recommend an external HDD in any case, I think they're a godsend personally :P
As it stands I have 37Gb of WO videos (many not uploaded yet...bandwidth fail). Gonna get some kind of direct recording thing soon I hope, using a camera is a pain in the arse. :D

I know short names are often taken. If the account was registered before I uploaded my video, I wouldn't even mention it, but the sign-up date for that account is right after my first upload here and it doesn't look like they intend to use it.

Thnx, yeah I love EG-X as well. You can go over the tunnel? lol didn't know that thanks for the heads up. I'll do a few other vids later. Even though the stats didn't boost as much in Fury I find it still handles great and feels quick. It is almost 9 for 9 on speed/accel.
