Thanks Arch - I knew I'd outdone myself on this one - Online it just looks amazing - distracts me from racing aswell mate lol - but once I'm over how good it looks - I'll be racing on TOP form, Air-Licker is Back!!!!:P
I thought this thread was locked! Turns out it was the other one. Well now I can share some of my liveries too. Ace-Flo you have quite a collection of ship liveries, all of which are very nicely done. You and the Airlicker Group seem to be quite good at texture mapping.

Some cool skins there Amorbis - I've only just started messing around with paint shop, It's quite addictive.

I decided to mix the default and alternate skin designs as while love the shape of the ship, the color scheme and detail text quite honestly are rather boring.
Nice work mate :) If you add a design and some cool writing to that white ship it will rock :cowboy

I draw it in 10 seconds xD You gave me a hint about how to copy/paste texture so now I can paint anything I want without dot-painting as I did before :P PS will help me! I published it already :P

The AirLicker Group is sad to announce that the EG-X will not be complete in time for the Avalon August sessions. Engineers have spotted several complications in thrust management, causing composites to melt off at higher speeds. Henceforth, a complete redesign of composites used in the manufacture of the EG-X. We expect the EG-X to be complete at the beginning of September 2009.
However, we are pleased to announce a development which we will share here...
the AirLicker group has just made the AG-S AirLicker mk2...
Also, the AG-S AirLicker mk1 skin will finally be available as free DLC, de-tagged. courtesy of AirLicker Group.
Photos of the mk2 in official testing stages are available in the thumbnails below. These pics were taken at concept and pre testing... the ship is ready for use in all FX-400 league events and shows a lot more promise than its predecessor, the MkI.
The MkII boasts:
Improved lateral stability
Skin manufactured using revolutiuonary lightweight composites
Improved thrust performance (courtesy Ion-Drive Mecha Systems, GmbH)
Improved downforce dynamics
Invisi-Jet Stream divider
Unequalled styling design
Other than this, it still boasts all the technology which made the MkI so good to pilot in the first place, this one is even better...
As promised by the AirLicker Group, here is the AG-S Airlicker MkI - completely de-tagged of Pilot PSN-id's and available for you here, as free DLC.

Ace how did you make that skin look so good. I had a go at custom skins and mine looked crap.. just a pink ship with jadebaby written down the side. It was so crap the pc crashed and i lost it.

I use Paint SHop Pro X and erm... imaginantion, trial and error, some weed (for creativity) and that's just about it really... Took a while to figure it all out though.

Thanks Jasmin. I took the pics from Pulses own in-game camera. When you are racing and you find a nice spot to take a photo, just press the start button to pause the game and scroll down to the photo option. From there it's easy. enjoy
