@ fragje - your phone makes better videos than my photo camera. Rank 40 on metropia is not bad at all, congrats. You can find some tricks here.
These works fine on venom and flash speed.
@ProblemSolver - is boost BR on TJ rev worth a try? I think it is but you must ask someone who's on 1st place there :)
@yeldar - I wouldn't be surprised if that went well. Extra barrel roll + still a shortcut = WIN!? Up to a point I'd say they'd be equal. But I think, a perfect TT with that method, against a perfect TT with the shortcut, would probably still lose. I look forward to being proved wrong though. (But only if you use Icaras :P)
Well the only reason I tried it in the first place was because I suck at CP Rev and I find this method a lot easier.
Still can't be arsed though...you do it :P

You know full well I gave up on that one a long time ago - the moment Elois improved further and crushed my spirit. Then I foolishly moved onto forward...shame on me.
EDIT: Thanks to this I went back to watch my old chenghou rev video and found audio had been disabled. I should hopefully have got it back now though. If anyone finds any other of my videos that have audio disabled then let me know and I will attempt to get it back for those too.
EDIT 2: @yeldar again. I thought your video had no sound to start with, because I didn't see the message that usually displays or a cross over the audio. This is what I usually see on mine. It's what I saw this time on mine as well. Right now it doesn't appear any more on mine. Hopefully that means sound is in the process of being restored, for both of us.
EDIT: We both got audio back now. Disputes FTW!

@Pbs and Phaeton, the boost/BR at the start on TJ R is usefull on venom and flash (possibly rapier). At phantom speed, i must boost pretty far from the finish line to land (while BR-ing) on the turn without hitting walls. Not sure it's faster than a classic boost with a tight turn using sideshift. Hey, if you take the #1 with it i'll give it a try :)

Untrust Us is sorta similar, then you have Air War and Black Panther (among others) which are slightly more jumpy and suchlike. Then you have some of their other stuff which is just freaky :)

if anyone hasnt tried it i suggest dscaler, i can capture at 720x576 using that program with no frame drops, set recording to half hieght alternate field, in recording settings, you then get a panoramic video but when u then convert to flv or whatever you just change aspect ratio to 4:3 and voila 640x480 in perfect ratio, means your pc doesnt have to be superfast to encode highres,

That video is amazing, and your control is awesome.
But it also shows clearly that barrel rolls benefit 'outside view' players more than the others. That first lap could NEVER be done from 'cockpit view'.
I happen to be a cockpit view player since 2097 (I can't control the ship from the outside) and I feel that I've been at a disadvantage since the barrel roll has been introduced.

I also play cockpit view, and i'm quite certain that it CAN be done. Yea well it's nasty and harder to execute while you can't see where you're going, but after practice when you can estimate your location, direction and speed on the track, it's very much possible.
Although learning and mastering that trick sure is hard work, but hey, isn't that one of the reasons why we keep playing this game?
