Works well with Twisted Metal why not the other type of racing
Other type? Twisted Metal isn't any type of racing. TM tends to feel right with crashbang startstop sorts of music where racing seems to work better with more sustained evenly paced music that doesn't vary in volume a lot or switch tempos [unless there's a slow acceleration of tempo.]. Okay, so I'm a bit old-fashioned in my racing music. :D
I could use some hard rock with Wipeout though... like Slipknot as an example. It may not have an evenly paced beat, but it has a constant one, and can get you quite energetic much like red bull... ;)
Tiesto, Surburban Train...
Also, Alison Moyet, Nobody`s Dairy. (never been to No`1 in the eighties!)
stevie:)
Gorillaz have a newer album coming out the 19th of this month...
You can check out their music on myspace...
Mice Parade - Sneaky Red
Someone I met at a Karate concert recommended this band... it was in the Summer of 2005. I did not take time to check Mice Parade out. A couple of days ago I stumbled upon a CD of theirs in a record store, listened briefly, and bought it. :)
Fish - Throwing Muses
"I have a fish nailed to a cross on my apartment wall...it sings to me with glassy eyes and quotes from Kafka..." LOL!! love it a little too much.
I'm listening to two things:
1. Daft Punk - Burnin'
Best house song EVER! :rock *goes to defy what I just said by listening to Mothership Reconnection by Scott Grooves*
2. The original score of Beowulf. No plot just pure unadulterated testosterone.
