Ok just ran the automatic function, seems to be working fine!
Every clone got deleted and offered his times to the original.
(Btw all new updates concerning a clone will be redirected to the original,
just like before, in case someone tries to add a clone time)
About MAX, I'm using Max now, but I could rename him.
Name him Phaze2097, that's his new PSN ID and WipEout HD account. His old
names are history, he told me.
Are you sure, because I recently played against someone called Max-RX6,
he had the french flag too ... I hope I didn't merge/delete wrong clones?
Also I'm identifying new user flags now ... 1053 new so far and counting,
it shouldn't really matter as the major players are already known, but still
good for statistical purposes, knowing which country plays wipeout the
most etc :)

2) Haven't added the new flags yet, will do soon, check contributors to
see who adds what; I try to find on internet, soon 1000+ new ones

Maybe that's how the formula works... but my overall ranking is also dropping with every rank 30~ rapier/flash/venom record I enter. :O

I'm currently outranked (I'm rank 541, he's 540) by a guy who has 15 records all with rank 300-600 entries. I have 180~ 100+ ranks. :<
Don't take this as a complaint though... it's a great site that's made me start doing more SL/TT for all tracks and speed classes. :D :+
this would make no sense... i have improved only 4 old records today and lost 5 places in the overall ranking

I think it's the formula. I just dropped to rank 829. ^^ I was rank 200 yesterday... but after entering my new records today (only ranks 10 to 50 records), I've dropped by 600 ranks.
The random account I checked to compare was: matejosa
He is now 400 ranks above me despite only having one sub 100 rank and everything else in the hundreds. Not sure how that really makes sense. :P
I think my bad Detonator scores are pulling me down a bit but even with those I wasn't as low as today. There were a few accounts who only had 10-15 entries but are now way above me in ranking.
EDIT: You can now find me at rank 2134. :P Maybe my index is low because I don't have any venom/flash/rapier multiplayer race records?

By the way, very bad scores are not taken into account, so it's something else.

Heh, thanks for looking into it. Take your time though... really appreciate all the effort you've already put into this website! It seems only the 'index' score is odd. The average and overall scores seem correct (I think?).
It's just something I noticed while adding lots of records to fill my matrix form. The matrix form is an awesome tool to check on where to improve instead of using the clunky ingame menu. :+

EDIT: @chrix12 You can sign up and make an account on the website to update your own scores. :P You don't need to wait for someone else to do it, that's the best thing about the site.

Even if these times are legit, no doubt that the 2 owners of the sol2 sl flash are glitchers :roll:
Fixed. "Bot mods" can delete records. Glitchers have their own ranking, the official one.

I was wondering; would it be possible to let players upload more then one time for a single track, but 1 per team?? And to be able to search by team used as well as track/speed etc?
My thinking came about because Ive recently really got into using pirahna, and would like to upload a few times. However many are not as fast as my icaras times. It would be awesome to be able to upload these times as well, and then filter the leaderboard by pirahna times only to see whos a faster fish than me :)
There is already a solution but it could pollute the leaderboards quite a bit...
adding those times as another account name which doesn't exist yet.
So a convention is required to easily filter those times out when not wanted,
like using:
with the * (must not be a valid PSN name)Code:*Piranha* osama_bin_haydn
or something like:
(I think the / is not accepted for PSN usernames right?)Code:osama_bin_haydn/Piranha
The problem is ... how many people are going to add such times?
If you're the only one, it's not really worth making the changes.
I have one request:
When sorting times by track the HD ones are in order of how they appear in the leaderboards. The Fury tracks are ordered differently though, would it be possible to re-arrange them to: TJ, TJ R, Amph, Amph R, MH, MH R, TDR, TDR R?
It's just a minor thing that would make cross-checking times a little faster. I compare them as I go down the list on the site while flicking through the ingame leaderboards.

I will add an option to have:
1) current order
2) wipeout hd order
3) alternating order: vineta fwd/vineta rev/anulpha fwd/anulpha rev/...

Thinking about OBH's suggestion - I don't know if many people would use it or not, but one of the best aspects of your site, Connavar, is that it adds so much longevity to the game by giving us features the standard tables don't, as well as reliability and accuracy. Imagine how much more time we could all play the game if there was a separate table for every ship. With WipEout's future uncertain, I think a lot of us will be squeezing as much enjoyment as possible out of the game, and this could really help us to do that. Also, some people like Hellfire are really loyal to one team and for them to be at the top of a record table and compete on a level playing field in that sense could be really cool. I would definitely compete with Hellfire's Goteki times if it were possible, as I love it too. I wouldn't include the separate times in the overall rankings though as I think that would be too confusing.
If it's a lot of effort then maybe it's not worthwhile, but perhaps something to consider for the future.

Let me just think of the best way to implement this.
The bot time for TDR(R) Venom needs to be adjusted, as it's only on 30.5 at the moment. I uploaded a vid to youtube of 30.07:

There are some lines that could be cleaned up and maybe some other things I'm not taking account of at all that could be used, but with the method I used, I think a time of 29.8 or so is possible...
