The "artistic differences" are the fact that the audio gets disabled on my videos if the content is owned by WMG. That's fine, I have no issues with upholding the law. But when one of the tracks gets disabled on my video and yet is freely available elsewhere on youtube with only a still image and no explosions or other sound effects going on, it does seem a bit inconsistent.

Thanks mizu. There were some great close races. Especially the 'green' races with my fellow Dutchmen. Before the tourney I asked them to let me win. I think they were kind enough to listen. ;)
I've always wanted to do some video's, but I didn't like the webcam setup. After some testing with various recording devices and some advice from a certain WipEout player (chiliharvs on Youtube), I finally got this.
I'm planning on doing a high definition recording of a Zone 80+ run on AP this evening. Now I only need some more practice to make some impressive video's.

Hi afatsuoM - I have the same thing. Let me know what settings you are using and what you think of the quality once uploaded to youtube. I've found that the videos max out at 1000kbps (for me at least, but I don't have the latest software as it fails on my PC). If I have it all correct in my head, then there's no point in uploading that whole 60fps 720p file because youtube videos are 30fps, so it saves on upload time if you halve the bit rate using a converter. :+

Leungbok: No worries about the rating, it's easy to do that. Is it not possible to click it again to change the rating? Anyway, thanks for rating at all. :) Rating numbers are always much less than views. :(

I've created a youtube group where I'm gradually collating videos from various users. I've been adding some videos I know of myself but I'd like it if the original artists could add their own. Currently some of the topics are Phantom Speed Lap and Time Trial (feel free to add other speed classes with the same structure), tutorials, music, zone videos, eliminator videos etc.
If you look at the SL and TT topic in this group then that gives you an idea of how I'd like to collate videos, i.e. quite nicely organised and for SL and TT posted in track order.

A few people are telling me that leungbok. It's a pain in the bum! I'm going to search for a resolution. If anyone else has issues when trying to add videos then please send me a PM and I'll let you know if I find a solution.
In the mean time, are you posting the videos as a reply to a message? I had problems just posting videos before but have never had an issue if I paste the link into the text box with a little message/mini-description in front of it. If all else fails then I can post them for you if you like. If so then PM me the links on here or youtube and I'll do it. Otherwise I'll let you know when I find the answer.

EDIT: Having done a bit of research it seems that, since changing to the youtube beta format, groups have lost functionality and just don't work very well. I want to continue with this though and hope that the groups will be fixed in the near future. So if anyone wants to add their videos to the group but can't, then PM me the links and I will add the videos to the group for you.

I felt like making a video, so I after a few attempts of Ubermall time trials on rapier, I thought I'd pull the camera out and record something!
I definitely don't have the skills displayed in some of the videos by like pirhapac, phaeton PL and others (you guys can be insane...), but I still like a few things about my approach despite it not being up there with the worlds best times :P
I also realised I should increase the production values after watching it uploaded, so I'll keep that in mind for next time if I can get around to it.
