So how many of us have switched the game off then back on again between races just to see if the update is there? lol
The Barrel Roll On/Off option sounds like a nice compromise for those who like/don't like BR's (or like me that suck at high speed Rapier/Phantom online races and are half a lap behind the multi-BR racers :D). The 20 lap race limit (if weapons are on) sounds like a good way to have a mini Eliminator style mode going. I can see setting a few 7, 10, 15, 20 lap races at Flash or Rapier and having an easier time slowly getting the 50 Online Kills trophy. :o
Finally got the Double Kill Trophy last time I played 2 nights ago after 30+ hours of single player. Also got the 8 race Skilled/Elite Tournament trophy too woohoo! Still can't get that last tournament medal in Meltdown so I can try for Bling Brigade. :(

Just read on eurogamer that the update is due for release at 5pm GMT (thats 6pm BST).
