Sounds like a well looked after pad to me, smooth airbrakes buttons. Mine are abit spongy.

That's the exact method people use isn't it...? It's just they still need the barrel roll because they're lines are not fast enough...

yes but i'm guessing quite a few people think that it can't be done without the roll (as indeed i did when i beat zico for the first time). I just thought i'd give people some hope. hope is good methinks :) i'm showing anything new but as of yet i haven't seen a vid of anyone doing it without the 'zico' roll so i thought i might as well...

Talons junction boost barrel roll start on venom and a bad example on phantom. Works on flash too, but i just couldn't manage it on rapier.:brickwall

Exactly, showing what top pilots are able to do, don't necessarily helps casual gamers without lot of tutorials and details. Hellfire did a good job for that !

Aww thanks yeldar mate, my lap gets a touch an misses the pad on that hairpin. A tricky corner surprisingly. Anyway nice stuff mate, need that pad for the roll at the end though:beer

Mind you watching it back seems quicker without the pad taking the inside line, I'll have to try it.

From experience I'd probably say taking the inside line after the last BR (and missing the pad) is faster... :)
Need to sort out the hairpin....I'm always really scared of turning too early and coming to a halt. Scaredycat, that's me :g and stinkle is Supercat :g yay :D
