Hi Connavar! I'll check further on my side. Other OSs and SM2.0 installations. Maybe it's just the crappy MacBook :P I'll keep you posted.
btw, as Seamonkey 2 is Gecko there should be no issues compared to FF, Camino, kameleon and others

How to get better times? This has already been discussed in other topics,
I think you already know the tracks and all modes, so for you:
- make sure to really optimize your racing lines, you often need to be as close
to the walls as possible, without hitting them
- master advanced techniques: sideshift, barrel rolls, good located turbos
- keep beating your ghost!!
- watch some of his videos, then ask yourself if you can do the same, and
if not, then why?
- also, if you can record some videos yourself, yeldar himself will be able to
tell you what you need to improve :)
I don't think you'll reach yeldar level very soon (I'm still far from him), but you
can get closer.

I've seen that video but I still don't know how to play it. If I look at the bombs, I don't see the track. If I look at the track, I don't see the bombs. I hate detonator (I suck) but I know it is killing my ranking. The same for Zone. I can handle it till Zone 35 (Zen) and then the game is over for me. I have looked several movies with respect, but it isn't my thing. Another things about the records: can it be true that 1 person has all the records for detonator, sometimes with 150 k difference?
Still it would be nice if there were some tips and "tricks. E.g. fastest lap, Vineta k, venom. I use the boost at the start, have br's and good lines (I think). Still the record is 3,5 seconds quicker. I really don't know how to do this .......... Yelder help....

About detonator: it's more important to look at the track, and never hit walls,
and then if you randomly fire when there are bombs, you should stay alive,
charge your EMP too!

Have you read through the 'Detonator mode' thread? DD already posted
a big tutorial over there. If you grasp all this and become really good then
there is still something sHoqa can tell you, if he likes to do so.
New change in overall rankings, records with a Ratio lower than 150 points,
are not taken into account for this overall ranking, meaning that some people
gained a few positions while others lost.
(They will still count as 2/3 of your average without them)
What about a default flag for those that haven't set any? The indentation bugs
me quite hard. :nod

really, really wish the event bit worked.
I have a big suggestion for the site and would like opinions whether it would be worth to implement. The Player Profiles are now easier to access but are quite bare, what about giving each player the option of entering their stats from the 7 pages of statistics in the game? It really tells you a lot about a pilot! Perhaps even some of these stats can be used as new ranking criteria. If this was implemented it would be great if looked like is does in game (graphs etc).
OBH: It worked before in the chat but I disabled it, should it show the same
options or something else? Don't worry about the events, coming soon!
Rezatron: good idea, but it would involve a lot of work, not sure if people will
be ready to enter them... anyway there will be more stats, right now it's only
showing the minimum.
I don't think I ever claimed it was easy. I had rare luck with boosts to help me, though. You should not expect that luck to transfer to the others without question. And if you're only looking at the times on Connavar's site, that would mislead you, since I don't update them.Quote:

A question, in my ranking system the are only 415 records, but I gave in 440 records. So I suppose that 25 records are to "good" :+ Can I see which records those are (prob. zone and detonator) and which points/time I have to achieve to get it rewarded as a record??

ive got a good rank now but when i got wr on tech de ra mp it was my 1st high score was in top 1000 on most times that were up from early days, about 80 records, i stopped playing and came back about 3 months ago
could be unfair in some cases, not that theres gonna be many new plyrs now.
prttoettoet: the 25 missing ones are your 25 sub 150 points records.

maybe you have to change this by Zone AP en AP return, because here the records are so extreme.

I got another idea, what about having a "Users" filter sortable in alphabetical
order or by flag and on the side of each nick a checkbox where you can select
your watched players, then a "Watched Racers" filter to use to keep in touch
of your friends or "enemies" :D progress?
And in each profile with some nice stats a "Watching" and a "Watched by"
window.

btw^2, RFE for the profile. The statistics in WOHD could be (partly) transferred to the profile. Like overall playtime to date, win/loss ratio and stuff. Whatever makes sense and is interesting.

Agree with Leungbok. Connavar asked everyone originally to enter times themselves if they had a good idea of what the Bot time should be. It might not be a good idea now though for people to know they can do this. If they accidentally get it wrong, then what happens? There could also be those that would abuse it, as anyone can access the site I think. If it's easily undone though then there might not be an issue. Possibly something for Connavar to consider though.

Speaking of Bots and the Like. I found a bug where my Times wouldnt upload. Very frustrating when im just trying to eliminate some very poor times I had in the past and im stuck with poor scores.
