1.49.27 - 34 pads - Some BRs - Feisar+

Needs improving: my first lap was my fastest lap :paperbag

1.56.77 from me, although it's global rank 25, it's still not good enough to match yeldar!

1.52.74 33 speedpads, loads of brs

last 2 laps again were not the best. I had a good run before and was on a running to get around 1.51 but i only managed like 4 brs the whole lap because i was anxious, need to meditate to do this lol

1.56.60 here. I decided to get my lines a bit better before I started the BR fest. Missing loads but managed more than I started with. Just looked at the save data file to get the time and it says that it was done with Icaras?? Also is anyone having trouble with their ghost ships, sometimes it shoots off in front before the first corner and other times I beat it but don't beat the record time.

I did have a bad ghost myself but it was further ahead than it should be so kinda helped, i usaully turn ghost off if its glitched like did to you, also i noticed it happens more when you try to beat time you just beat so I always return to main menu and let fully save before retry,

Those ghost's issues happened months ago !:? when the good ghost remains in my save file, i automatically save it on my second account.

Well it corrects its self eventually but why does it swap from being too fast to too slow, and why is it saved as Icaras when it is showing the correct time for what I did in the Feisar? Strange.

Too many of my ghosts are screwed. I usually give up with TT when the ghost gets buggered up, rather than reaching my limit. I do what brainbeat does too, I wait for it to save fully and then return to the menu and go back in. Otherwise it seems to always start off wrong, although won't necessarily last. Sometimes they don't correct themselves, and sometimes it just saves a slow ghost for no reason whatsoever. It's very irritating. I didn't realise they could be saved to a second account though, thanks Leungbok.

It won't set the world alight but I got my time wrong, 1.56.50. :P

so i didnt try for 3 days due to work and not sleeping well, tried to record a session today and beat my score by a sec, its alot easier if u dont go for perfect run lol, only managed around 25-30 brs i reckon

I think I missed about 12BRs in mine. Fastest lap was first lap 27.2x (somewhere around that time) with 2 BRs missed.

cheers would be awesome to see a perfect tt run though, i have done so many laps and still dont feel like i know every inch, its gotta be the most technical course in the game.
oh and thats one decent 1st lap u got yelda, if i get 27.x first lap then im on edge from 2nd lap lol

yeah it's a super frustrating track at this speed. gotta concentrate on lines, BRs AND staying on the track.
I was on a great run just before my record time, got 27.3x then 2x 26.3x then i respawned on the last lap. awesome :P

Quite a tricky one this week with all those barrel rolls to be had. Thanks to all who participated - it's good to see high ranking times going on the Wipeout leaderboards.

Yeah I always like watching the videos, can never do the things on them, but it might give me a .10 somewhere. :+

Yeldar I'm using the boost at the charisma free shortcut after the first mag mate. I've seen you use it on the home straight and then use the lip or nose up to just get across the gap to BR where most people boost to - does that make sense.

I would love to see how easy you make this BR into the tunnel look. I've still only managed it about three times. When it is coming off so badly then it's time to stop it :nod. Even though it's at Venom the nose up - SS - LRL - don't hit anything, is beyond me.

lol. The lip BR-chain is pretty easy to start. After that at least 2BRs is possible but getting 3-4 is INSANELY hard. Can't say I spent much time on it but I'll try to find an easier way of pulling them off in the near future.
Yeah doing the mini-shortcut in venom is only faster if you can do a double BR, otherwise it's a bit slower. All will be revealed in the video :nod

This is the lip on the right side of the tunnel isn't it? Just can't seem to get any height on it.

On a side note managed 1.39.xx - Icaras+, which is good for me. I seem to be enjoying the time trial more than the speed lap for this track, which is the opposite of last week.

Only a 1.44.11 from me. I don't have the consistency on this track to get a better time.

i can manage 1 br off lip but never doubled up, and 1 br was allways behind my ghost still. hard challenge this week

yeah 1 BR is slower that just going normall, you need at least 2 for it to be advantageous in any way :)

Is it possible to get the shortcut BR right at the start amplificated? I can only do it after I've BR'd over the start line.

not at the start, I think you need the previous lap's boost to give you the extra speed needed, as well as the speed pad on the right. Yeldar made a video a while back that shows the WR time, it was very helpful :P

my boost style on the last lap though is more akin to how I outlined it in the speed lap thread though, I personally think it's faster than a simple boost-br; Yeldar is just fast in general :P

Thanks amplificated, that helps - I know where I can improve now. Now it's just a question of maintaining the consistancy for 4 laps :)

Same method as video but with the BR on the first corner on the first lap as well.

First up again 1.59.23 Fury - No BRs. I think I have seen three BRs on this track but was enjoying not doing them for a change, I'll try and get a few at some point. I haven't beaten my SL time yet, will post when I do. :xtree
