The Night? Nah, "The Night" doesn't flee from a flame! It's still there, you can still see it around you. The Darkness, however, that will flee a flame. Check your source perhaps, but I'm pretty sure my answer is slightly more correct.

The square covers go on the square holes, and round on round.
square manhole covers canfall down the manhole if turned properly and do great damage to anyone down there but round ones cant
