And what's with Politicians all having either one long "spam" eyebrow, or overly long eyebrow hairs? They need to be told that 'image' is half the campaign... Now, if I was a politician I'd ... lol

zerOshen, I think Feri is pretty much an American thing, practised by a fairly small group.
I'm not with a 'coven', or 'sisterhood', so I don't really tend to hold onto the whole "Oh yeah, women rule" thing. While it is a big part, it's not something I like to dwell on too much, as I see both genders in the same light. Too much of that 'girl power' nonsense makes me rather queasy.
I'm a solitary and have always been since I 'classified' myself, so to speak. I just focus on the 'working with nature' and 'giving dues to the gods' part. I used to study natural medicine a lot, so that was always my main focus. (I've actually helped out a good number of people with my remedies.)

Speaking of politics, I've been laughing to myself recently. They help the annual BNP Red Whie and Blue thing recently and, naturally, the bloody students held their protests against it. It cost the police (Or rather the taxpayers) over £500,000 and they arrested 19 people.
War in the streets in my tiny village. Ugh. Not fun. No traffic, no public transport, litter, blood, but hey! It's all ok, because they are protesting against the 'bad guys', right!? [/sarcasm]

Makes a lot more sense to me. I prefer that each person have their own private religion [or not have one if that's their preference] rather than get together in churches, which have a tendency to become political, to be about power, and trying by persuasion [with or without coercion] to get EVerybody to believe exactly the same thing.
@Lance - Agreed. I've had too much of that pushed at me in my life. The whole "If you don't attend our meetings, you aren't a true follower", or "God won't listen to you if you don't attend" got pretty tiresome. I understand that, while I have my own beliefs, there'll be a good number of people who think I'm nuts for believing it. But, I'm not all that bothered by it. I don't force my beliefs on others, so I'm not worried. The way I always saw it was, you know you have found the right belief system for yourself when you don't have to defend it. No need to defend it if it's right. :P
Yes, if your feeling of comfort and security, and your view of how the universe works, depends on everyone else agreeing with you so that they never question the validity of your belief set, then you have major insecurity. A study of history shows that the insecure and controlling have often killed for each or both together of those reasons.

I guess they didn't read the part about thoushaltnotkill. Or found it inconvenient to promoting the religion of which it is a fundamental rule.
Being a cynic, I suspect that they had other motives. Like taking someone else's wealth and territory. And maybe killing just felt too good to stop.

I spent hours in bed tossing and turning so I decided to stay up instead.
The only reason I'm not sure about it is because I might just get caught up in whatever I'm doing tomorrow and not feel the tiredness. Whaddya reckon?
P.S. Why does bed become the least comfortable place in the world when you actually want to get to sleep...

& Yeldar have you tried sleeping on the floor?, I did it for a couple years as I read it was better for dreaming and also because I wanted to be comfortable sleeping anywhere I think it's great
also if you have other associations with your bed like if you watch tv, work, or use the computer in bed you will have also given it a dual association so your body may respond to your bed as a place to be alert/concentrate.
oh and you could always try sleeping on the couch for a few days it prolly won't kill you
