Results for Round 4 are here. Group 1 may be replaying their round as it was severely disrupted, so their grid is blank for the time being. I will update this in due course
I just noticed that you have Thursday 18th Jan as the cut off for speed lap, actually the 18th of Jan is a Friday.
Which is it, cut off at midnight on the Thursday or Friday?

Ah man, Speed Lap has been great fun so far, just about finalized all my times. Go for that final push tomorrow on certain tracks.

@GROUP 8: Let's schedule our times for Round 6, the Zone Battle.
May I suggest a time and date of Saturday, 3:30pm Perth time [GMT+8], for convenience of Lazer0pz, as he wasn't able to participate in the final Eliminator race.
Please feel free to suggest different times/dates, as I am just suggesting the time.
@Gekko, I think the earliest RR can do is 3.30, he's working till 2 on Saturday. I'm good for an early time though ^_^ Looking forward to ZB very much

I sent my ss results in, all pretty rushed attempts. Every now and then I reach a point where I'm absolutely sick of this game and this point is now. So I wasn't really motivated to do my speed laps. :(
Anyway, 3.30 is fine with me. 12.30 would be a bit too early indeed.

For fun I have been trying to beat Cheng Rev SL on Flash, just stuck at 28.47s - can't get nowhere near my PB, BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :)
Me neither John. Most of my others I've set a new PB without too much fuss, but Chenghou Rev my ghost just runs away at the shortcut, and I spend the rest of the lap trying to reign him in. Can't get within half a second of my record here, and I've given up trying. Sol 2 at Phantom has been my other frustrating one, just got Vineta Rev left tonight and I'm done.
I have to say it's been better than I expected, although I'm hardly setting the record tables on fire.
Alrighty, I'm gonna go and set my Speed Lap times now. It's gonna be a rushed job again, due to university work, so probably only 5-10 laps on each track.

My barrel roll thumb is hurting and the left analog stick on the wireless controller sounds a little bit weird. I've never done speed laps (except for the campaign modes) and now I see everything depends on the knowledge where to use the turbo and where to barrel roll.
I wish Wipeout had some kind of option to generate tracks (for an event) randomly because it would suppress memorising every corner and would show the real skill of the pilots. :p

Believe it or not, there is a tie in one of the races in Group 7! In the very unlikely event this happens, whoever hit the most speed pads will take precedence. Otherwise, just share the points

Novide and I? I noticed it when I finished the lap, and check this out - it's the second time we've drawn. We also drew in Round 1 on a Time Trial, and our fastest lap was only .01 apart, otherwise it was going to SPs. Peas in a pod I'm telling you :)Quote:
