Great stuff here! Nice idea using Picasa, here some of mine.
Easy to guess that I'm an Icaras fan :P

Does the latest version of Picasa still create some giant multi-gigabyte index the way it used to a few years ago?
I'm not sure, but you don't have to use the actual program to upload photos to picasaweb.
Effedieffe, i really appreciate that Harimau missile on AP. I don't yet have a shot in my collection where the lightning bolts stretch out that far and I notice the debris against the night sky sort looks like stars, which really ought to be visible in the AP sky.
Phaeton_pl, those upside down shots look fun, and I might use the pre-magstrip Metropia Reverse pic as a wallpaper. That's a really good shot on one of my favorite tracks.
Rezatron, I can't help but think what's on the other side of that hallway. :P
I still don't understand this comment. I don't use the post attachment feature because it won't take the full resolution images and I don't know what's happening in six months.
Thanks Koleax, when you start shooting photos you'd never stop so take a look at this Bomb on Amphiseum.
Here are the pics I took in Wipeout HD (yes, I have HDMI):

Nice! :+
do you have this one in bigger res?
Yeah. All of my images are in bigger res (I have an HDTV, but 32")
Always surprised to see hexagons in weird places, like that huge AG-S ad on the Modesto suspension bridge. Someone at SL must have been a huge fan of Ridge Racer 6. :P
Picasa doesn't seem to have a batch upload feature, so I'm going back to PhotoBucket for the time being.
Can EG-X dodge in time?

These are images of a triad of rockets passing underneath Piranha and missing it by a narrow margin, allowing for some very clear shots of what the rockets actually look like, starting with a closeup:

All of the photos in this post so far have been edited in Photoshop to remove a uniformly red "bug frame" that resulted from the zone transition photography bug mentioned earlier in this thread. All I did was adjust the levels, but the colors may not accurately represent gameplay.
I've been intentionally reproducing the bug and experimenting with it to produce interesting effects. I'll post more about that soon in another thread, but here are some interesting looking photos I took while messing around that I might keep for desktops or later editing. Just to be clear, these photos are unedited and do not have post-processing effects.

That last photo will give you some idea of what I've been trying to do-- and succeeding. More soon! :)
Thanks for sharing. They are some very cool images.:+ Seeing the rockets close up like that is crazy.:eek
Who would of thought that SL would go to such extremes of detail on the rockets, considering it's not something you are going to see in normal gameplay.
I think that's a first,I can't remember ever seeing that before.
Great photos.:+
I hope that level of detail isn't present during the actual game. There is no meaning in that elsewhere photo mode (like level of details, polygones and textures don't need to be awesome when objects are far away and so tiny on the screen)
There's a much higher level of detail on the little lights on the track in Vineta K.
The game has a technology where it can lower the horizontal screen resolution while rendering especially complex frames. The vertical resolution will always be 1080 (so they can get away with saying it's always 1080p) but they can make the horizontal resolution much lower than standard full 1080p.
Still doesn't get them a constant 60 fps, especially in Fury.
Vineta is the perfect track to show the awesomeness of graphic quality in W HD. When I turned the game for the first time and saw lightning and bump-mapping on track floor textures (still remembering the graphics in PSP version), I finally felt that this is real next-gen :)Quote:

Some pics I snapped while speed lapping on the Amphirev. Very speedy it was btw.

NNNNNOICE!
If you have that in 1080p I'd love to put that on my desktop!
Yeah, I like that. :) The sky looks kind of like water and the ships like a school of fish.
I'll post the full res when I get home.
Strange,.,.., the second image doesn't show. Here's the text link to it:
