So, the final round!!! so weird to write that. I got used to this thread lol, loved to read your logs, and when I had time, whatched some of your great vids... And we shared lots of goos moments there, from the little opening ceremony to this day. From a personal point of view, probably shared by lots of you, I'll never forget this cup because Marcus was participating to it. Tbh I hate myself because I can't remamber if he was there at the ceremony. So yeah, I probably won't forget this story.

Now the competition part. We have TWO FANTASTIC FINALS THERE. This is the least we can say lol, with FOUR OF THE GREATEST WIPEOUT PILOTS ON EARTH.

I'M BEGGING YOU THERE. PLEASE RECORD THESE MEETINGS, even with a crappy cellphone, we don't care. There's way too much skills there, we want to see that lol.

Congrats Luxo and IDReaper. Commiserations to Barny and Ace3. I hope the third place play-off does go ahead. That coveted legendary controller is worth fighting for.

I notice it's a Holland vs. North America final. Why does that seem familiar?

Man, the first post here was 19th August. Since then (after losing in first round due to being a bit crap) I've watched the progress all the way through. That's 3 months!
You guys HAVE to get these finals recorded!

You know, if it was at all possible, I'd spectate. Popcorn, beers and all. It's going to be immense.

So now I've a sad, bad news to announce. Ace3 decided to withdraw, he told me a while ago now but I hoped he could change his mind... I think it won't be the case, so we have the final podium of the cup, with XBARNSTERX as 3rd. Big congrats to you mate, you did a fantastic run in this cup too.


Now you guys are all invited for the Wipeout memorial day, Saturday, Dec. 11 (peak expected for 21h GMT). Let's celebrate all together this great game, and share some good wipeout pilot memories or tips eh eh.

He´s quite/(very) busy atm, I have to tell you. But he would very much like to make a DVD ... of all footage made from the WipEout HD Cup. The Avalon Cup is not his job - he wasn´t even born, when it started, he expressed in very sleepy voice ...
