That time was done using the normal method but I also tried using the fastest phantom method (SS over the shortcut and use boosts on the starting/ending straightaway instead) but couldn't get a consistent run after 5 or so attempts. That method is much harder as you need to ride the railing to get enough clearance to make it over the shortcut. Might be worth further investigation but I doubt it's faster at Rapier speed.
New time: 1.41.94 - 6BRs - 37SPs - Fury
1.41.54 - 8 BR (:redface:)- 37 sp - fury

Where did the extra BR/lap come from? I'm intrugued :)
Either he has found a way to consistently do the BR over the small hump at the start of the long right, or he is doing the boost over start line method, however if he used the last mentioned method, it doesn't explain where the 12th BR came from x)
damn ! my bad ! i counted 3 br per lap like on sl, so it's only 8, sorry :redface:
Ah ok, I was about to say....
Although the BR in the tunnel is possible for people like you I guess. I think brainbeat uploaded a video of his TT where his did the BR a couple of times :)

I tested it just before my latest run but I found it to be about 0.4 - 0.5 slower over 4 laps :)

I had a go at this before, the time was something like 1.42.xx. I was all over the shop with BRs. Two laps I got 3 and was set up for a 4th on both but out of shock I didn't even get them. One lap I got 1! I'll try again tomorrow.
10 BRs are not making a huge difference are they??
No, the triple BR isn't really as fast as it would be in another area or track ;P
With single BR (2BRs total) in the speed lap, I am only .46 from the WR.
