Asa & With Joyful Lips - Forgotten
If I lived somewhere sunny and could get up in the morning to an amazing view, I'd listen to this tune every single morning :)

Totally did not find out about him because of his latest video.
But you should listen to the others. They are great, and probably more to your tastes too.
I'll add to my middle aged psychosis list with this little none dance number.

What a beard!
While I'm at it, I saw this on the Comic Relief night they had a while ago. The song is great and the film is fantastic to.

KGB, I saw Josh T. Pearson live (well, just about alive) on stage the other day. I like his music, but not sure I could take large doses without some variation, though I suppose that might be a sell out for him.:guitar Anyway he's actually pretty funny in between songs and could also do stand up!
He was supporting the awesome Drive by Truckers :rock

they sound great on CD, but the way to hear them is live where they are just incredible :eek
When I was over in Indianapolis recently, my friend's brother introduced me to the music of John Hiatt, and I quite liked the songs he put on. So I've picked up his greatest hits album and I've enjoyed listening to it this week.
It's maybe not the kind of thing I'll listen to all the time, but in my collection I have bands like The Traveling Wilburys who fall into the same category - great songs and music that deserve a listen once in a while.
Can't believe there's been new albums from many of my favourite artists already this year - the Foo Fighters, The Strokes, R.E.M., and Moby have all had new releases - it's going to be a long, barren run after the RHCP album comes out!
@lunar, where did you see him at? I only heard of him a couple of weeks ago after I saw him on a show that was on before later with jools holland, read a bit about him and he was in a band called Lift To Experience which I'd never heard of before either.
I really wish I lived somewhere a bit more happening so I could see some bands, the closest I got was Radio One's One Big Weekend which I couldn't get tickets for. Too old to go up and down the country now watching bands here and there.
@ Infoxicated, I saw REM at Huddersfield in about 95 I think, one of the best gigs I ever saw, wasn't expecting much but one of the first songs they played was What's the frequency Kenneth, I was putty in their hands after that :).
Whats the frequency Kenneth, what a song!!!!!!
i love the whole monster album and REM
Circus envy :+

I passed up the chance to see R.E.M. back in the early 90's and regretted it, but when I was working down in London back in 2008 they were touring for the Accelerate album and I managed to get some tickets for the concert at Twickenham.
It was by far the best gig I've ever been at - the atmosphere was incredible and it was just a perfect evening. I saw some folk complain on Last.fm that they played too many oldies, but I thought that was brilliant - the lights for Orange Crush were just amazing, with the whole stadium just bathed in this glow of orange.
If they tour for Collapse Into Now I'll be first in line for tickets - amazing band!
