Ive tried to download the 'Xlink Kai' but cant save-there is only a 'Save File' and 'Cancel' option, and the Save file one is greyed out
Edit:Tried using another browser-managed to download :)
According to Xlink, nobody is online for niether Pure nor Pulse

come on guys, pure was awesome, it needs a new spurt of life, we need to go back to the good old days when players don't quit when losing, I bet that playing pure on xlink was one of the highlights of peoples days. We need to return the glory of pure, we need to make it live again.

I would very much like to but I never got XLink to work.
And now that the company who made the drivers for the PSP WifiMax is dead, I just cannot use it anymore. :/
-
yeah, the port forwarding and static local IP address are a bit tedious to configure. Also, it doesn't work on computers wil AOL on them, which annoyed me a lot. It took a looong time to convince my dad that I didn't want to install AOL on my computer.

Okay, I think I'm in!
I think I've got XLink Kai installed and running on my system, and I think I've got my PSP connected to it, and I think I'm hosting a room, but I can't find an arena for Pure!
I'd like to find out if I've got this working, PM me if you're online and know that your Kai works. 8 )
My XTag: JW_Task
Okay, found the arena in the Japanese/Korean area. Never considered looking there. Thanks sox for the hint!

Jay : that is what i call a really good news : i shall give you a hint through msn when i can play with you ( possibly saturday or sunday )
That could be awesome if you can invite Mike at home in the future ( you can split your Kai's connexion )

Just hooked up PURE with the KAI system. Shall we arrange for a online meet guys?
Also I have the latest firmware for the PSP, will that matter also?
Last but final, does someone have a FAQ on here for us XLink dummies? :)
-
I'm on kai now, in the lobby for pure. :pirate
-
Just found out that you need a wireless usb hub to play the game. dammit!!! Why can't the damn thing play through the wireless router!!!
-
I think this thread IS the FAQ!
It depends a lot on how you're connecting.
I'm doing the "Cable/DSL to a windows home computer, USB dongle to connect PSP to PC" method, and it's different from a couple other methods.

I got it to work under Ubuntu Linux with a bcm4311 card (Broadcom). The card can go into monitor mode under Linux. (Can't go under winblows) Anyone interested, I can help. Or provide the config files. :)
See you online! ;)
