well yes amp this is of course true :P but they will not permit you to add a race time of less than a minute because it is impossible unless you skip a lap or 2

I know WipeoutZone allows us to enter our own lap times for site rankings, but so far I have been unable to upload my results in-game to the global rankings on PSN. After a time trial or speed lap I can compare my times accurately to the global rankings, but when I view the Records menu my time does not appear on the global rankings. My personal time is logged, however. When I look at the global rankings and press square, the list refreshes to the top and my time is still not listed. I know with so many new players perhaps new records are not yet being uploaded, but I would like to know if anyone else has not had recent times uploaded to the global rankings. As a new player, I want to share my times with the veterans.
The online records can take quite a while to update, they do eventually.
You can get situations where only a portion of your new records appear straight away, and others don't.
When the PSN came back from the prolonged outage, not all the records were able to be viewed, this has slowly be rectified, but I imagine that with all the new players the wipeout servers are getting hammered, especially the Multiplayer/Eliminator/Venom & Flash speed records.
Phantom & Rapier wouldn't be getting hit as much, neither would Zone /Zone Battle.
It's crap to be honest, none of my times / scores have updated to PSN in about a fortnight. I thought the reason the leaderboards were down for so long was because they were preparing for the massive influx of players / records. It seems they've not done a very good job, and broken leaderboards are just another barrier to new players sticking with the game.
It's happened before.
I think the record for the records not updating was around 2 months, and that was before a game update when Fury was released.
I think they have come to the conclusion that most of the new records will be from new players, and they are most likely going to break their own records, so let things run there course till things stabilize a bit, then fix them.
Plus you have some of the guys in the process of promoting 2048 at E3 and the others probably polishing it up and QA testing before release, so I reckon the updating of records is not going to be high priority as far as they are concerned.
Yeah I did think with E3 and the 2048 development, the HD leaderboards will be pretty low on their to-do list. It's bloody annoying though, and I'm not usually one to moan.
Updated some (like 50,000) records.
Excellent, I thought you had. Good effort Connavar :)
Connavar, you're simply the best :P
i cant access the records, only my profile :frown:
any ideas why?
