22.50 - 11 speedpads - 2 br - Fury Ship
Don't think I'm taking the first corner very well and can't get the second br consistently either. Not a bad start though.
I'm also struggling this week - damn, looks like I picked an absolute nightmare of a combination this week!
I can get the 3rd BR around 20% of the time, but I've always messed up a previous part of the track, so it makes no difference.
So far, all I can manage is 23.95 with 3BR's. Could have been so much faster if I hadn't messed up the first corner!

yeah it's really hard this week. Also really frustrating because I can only do 2BRs... grrrr

22.76, 11sp, 2br, non-fury.
If I can throw in the 3rd barrel roll, I'll be good. might try fury ship later in the week.
where is this 3rd BR everyone is talking about? Is it the one after the banked right-hander or the one at the bottom of the slope?
I think the one at the bottom of the slope/drop (2nd possible BR on the track, right after the first one), at least for me. JaLK said it shaved half a second off his time. If I can make that and keep form i'm looking at a 21.xx time in frickin' Triakis :P right now I don't have the motivation though ;)
For me The 3 BR's are as follows on Modesto.
1: Slope Down, Easy BR.
2: Bank Hard right after 2nd Speed pad BR before Hairpin turn on Banked corner.
3: Turbo over Jump before 90 Degree turn to finish line.
Those are all the BR's I used to get the 4 Modesto TT Records.
If there is a fourth im yet to know about it (Except for Yeldars special barrel roll which causes more damage then good on TT).
That 2nd BR is impossible though, it's like the 3rd/4th (non turbo) BRs on TDR...
The one after the banked turn (after the tunnel) is WAAAY easier. Don't actually know if it's faster though.
The Second BR as in right after the slope? In Triakis it is difficult I will admit but it definately isnt impossible.
Maybe we are speaking of 2 seperate BR's?
I know your BR on the Long Right pre-Jump doesnt drastically improve time either. but It might give the edge needed to do speed lap.
Official leaderboards are lagging again, you'll have to redo the TT at Venom speed to get back your "King of Modesto" title ;)Quote:

Really I got topped again? I swore I beat that. Oh well ill gladly take another crack at it.
On a side note, I love Modesto since its the only course I can give advice on XD. That and MAAAAYBE TDR/rev/Fwd. I know I beat the Record for MP Mod Rev and VenK Fwd but it still isnt updated. its VERY frustrating. I want my damn records! >=(
Maybe you did, check your personal tab. If so, update Connavar's site etc
My Personal Tab isnt updating either thats the weird part. I got photos to prove it too. (the record from the race that is)
You can give advice on any track really. I'm not the master of any one track but I feel comfortable giving advice on all of them - it's just my execution that fails me :D
Yeah we are talking about the same BR - Can't do it above flash speed. TBH I suck at the first bit of the track, I always bounce like a lairy mofo at the end of the first slope. PITA
My 2nd BR (end of long right-hander) does sweet FA but I reckon if you doubled it up it might be quite useful...
P.S. Was your Vin K faster than 1.36.6x? :g
I think my Vin K record was 1.36.4x I might be mistaken but it was almost a full second above the previous record. I Fist pumped at how glorius it was only for it not to be updated. *cry*

5 BRs per laps on my attempts ;) (at venom speed BRs rules). I don't know for shapealot but he's good for BR-ing too !Quote:

Hmmm. I only got 4 on Modesto Heights Venom Speed. Looks like I need to go BR hunting...

Improved my time with slightly better lines after the long right banker and a cleaner landing off the speed pad after the first drop.
I managed to do some laps wth 3 BRs and maintain form but then I get all nervous and **** up my lines or something else ridiculous. :blarg
