Go ahead and do either one, but mabye after you get the measurements for the proper shapes and sizes of the crafts, put measurements and proper shadings of colors in secondary copies. Just an idea, but for the first one, livery would be alright. ;)

every ship looks better in livery mode (last ship on the image).
