Mine haven't forgotten :P <<< smiley : D
my god really :P that wasnt proof enough? how much will i have to do? :P
If you honestly dont get it, i did recover my accout on another ps3 so i could use the cam as i havent got one, but this doesnt bring my ghosts ... so the ghosts are messed up ...
Honestly !!
No, it proves nothing !
If this video was made to prove that Soa-booney is a main user and not an alt it perfectly works !
If this video was made to prove that Soa-booney is able to set WR like his friend Yeldar do, it don't works at all to me !
I just see a close screen footage of speedlaps and timetrial on apparently a brand new account (or an account imported on another ps3), and at the end of the video with enough time for an army of ninjas to disappear we are seeing someone answering to the name "Booney", with people laughing around, like if it was a good joke they made.
Wasn't it easier to show both the screen and the player with the ds3 (set on player one) on hands with the camera travelling to the player and to the tv ? that would be a really more convincing proof, yes !!
So no, your video isn't a proof, but don't care, it's only my opinion, i can be wrong, there's maybe a new wipeout genious called Soa-booney, living close to Yeldar the best wipeout HD player who already played on his friend's account to set top 10 times (conor buckley as a known example).
I'm just highly sceptical !!!
Oh i forgot two or free :) and a couple of :p
I think it would be better to don't make this video . I explain : I was a little bit suspicious before this video too , now i'm highly secptical .
Why making a video proof if you prove nothing inside ?
Just my feeling, hd don't interests me hardly now and I don't want to return at war for bullshits .
Well said Wotan !
I hope i'm wrong and only be a f*****g paranoid !!
I'd hate this community would host someone fooling other members like that, but it already happened by the past ! :?
I look forward real proof !
This is not real proof? lol
Don't understand you people anymore :dizzy
Not saying you cant have have questions but it's no wonder this community doesn't grow much if we keep being this suspicious of new talent.
I obviously can't be certain but it feels like all you have to do to push these suspicions out of mind is to talk to him for any amount of time. They're different enough Yeldar and Soa that it's fairly easy to tell them apart that way.
That's just me though but honestly I don't see the point of this discussion.
It really does surprise me how much you guys get suspicious anyway, why would someone go out of their way to make someone believe they are someone they are not? it doesnt make sense. And after all it is just a game. People wanted a form of proof and i gave it them, and for some reason i knew people would still find some crazy way to criticise, but you guys can believe what you want. If needs be ill redo one to your specific requirements, a player and screen video just to try and end it once and for all. But until i can arrange it again you will have to wait :)
This is pathetic. SoA Booney is a very friendly, genuinely sound 17 year old lad called Scott, who might just be the most talented Wipeout HD player in the World. For somebody to break over forty World Records in their first 4 months playing the game is nothing short of astounding.
Sadly certain sections of this "community", rather than celebrating such raw talent, jump all over it with snide paranoid remarks, basically claiming its yeldar in disguise.
Presumably having had enough of this, Scott went to the effort of making a video to prove it was him and not yeldar playing. Is that enough? Of course not, what Scott has to do is go round all of your houses personally and play the game in front of you. Then submit to a DNA test as well I suppose.
This is bad news, it really is :-
This is crazy and funny at the same time, because this is a VIDEOGAME. I can't get how this can be taken so seriously.
It's just a game, enjoy it.
Don't worry SoA, like I often say, "you can't prove a thing you haven't done".
Most important is you have fun and you respect the WipEout world.
Maybe later, you'll enter in the little circle of convention's wipers, so you'll know IRL some players, and after that, regardless of the speculations, you'll be part of a real and friendly community.
If there is some suspicions here, it's not because of you, but other players who will recognize themselves.
New video again. Feels like im spamming new videos..
But i enjoy making them.

Awesome videos Azurooth!
cheers for the support guys, much appreciated :) feeling a little love in the forums .. for once xD
Thanks a lot Phantom.
'Video wasn't exactly convincing given the apparent point of it was to cancel doubt. I mean really, if you're going to do something, do it right ey? Grab a controller, show it's the #1 input, and then record yourself playing with you and that controller in frame getting times in the realm of your own records. Shouldn't need to "set anything up" when it's that simple. Yeah, it could be the real deal. People obviously want to believe that. Why not show it?
All I can say is that some people have really glossed over the fact that it's far more likely for someone to be playing a trick (what more do teenagers want than laughs, anyway?) than have found a video game savant. It's common sense that someone such as myself who has put a lot of time into the game (probably 150-200 hours before I got my first WR, and it took me like 2 years to get to that point) would have doubts that someone who is nailing numerous WR's within their first month is totally legit. How on earth could you not be suspicious to some extent?
Unless this kid plays the game for more than 20 hours a week, it is unrealistic given the situation. Something on this scale, for all intents and purposes, never just happens. Yeah, I would totally suspect myself to be setting WR's in a game I've just started playing within a month when it's been out for 3 years and has a hardcore crowd...
WipEout sure is a game, thanks to those who pointed it out for the unaware, but if people weren't at least a little passionate about it, it wouldn't be anywhere near as good as it is. A little healthy discussion can't harm, eh?
If it's a trick then yeldar's really pulling out all the stops, to the point of developing an entire personality separate to his own and befriending people with that personality / character.
SoA_Booney and I play each other most evenings, and have lengthy chat sessions whilst we're playing. In the process he's regularly getting top 5 times, and I imagine rarely falling outside the top 50 to be honest. Now if it's not Scott, the lad in the video, but it's yeldar having a joke at my expense, and many other people's expense, well that would make him a frigging headcase. A proper, certifiable nutter.
I'm not saying any more on the issue, all this paranoia's driving me up the wall :bomb
