Why is this not sticky anymore?
Maybe because the site was down for a period. But it's back now, don't let it disappear from the first page :)
Something else : Conna, i recently uploaded some fury's speedlap times on the website and when i look in the HD section in speedlap all all global ranking i'm first (well that will not last :lol), no pb with that ^^, but for people who don't have fury, it's unfair no ? Isn't is a way of separating the incomplete (HD) and complete (HD+Fury) for the rankings, or maybe a third section with only the players with the pack (if it's not too much work of course^^) ?

bugs with explanation of how to reproduce them, and I´ll correct everything!
Leungbok: I could imagine a HD only filter, but well, I heard that Fury was
pretty good, so in that sense the site is a further motivation to upgrade
to Fury.
Connavar's site is great and VERY useful. They shouldn't have removed the Sticky :(Quote:

In addition, I think times for HD tracks with HD ships deserve preservation in some way. This shows how far the boundaries had been pushed at the point of Fury's release. Records in the online tables show an icon next to them if a Fury ship was used. It would be good if the same could happen with this site and if we could then filter out the times with Fury ships. The ability you use faster ships on current tracks has essentially just moved the datum by which we measure ourselves. I'm still trying to measure up to the old standards and want to continue. Why is it anyone can edit anyones record?
Seems if anything could be a bit of a security risk?
I think all the records of a recent period are registered and untouchable, no matter if you edit it after. So if a revengeful troll ( wormwoodmartin for example ) comes and want to mess around, everything can be cleaned and put back to normal. I think...

i thought that only the person adding the record and the person that the record belonged to could change it. hmmm is this some new thingy?

After messing around with the flags I noticed I can no longer reselect England as my nationality, I have no flag next to my name at all :(. If possible could you change it back please Connavar? I think my times showing next to the English flag makes getting a good time all that much better :D.

Gonna fix a bunch of bugs, before adding the new stuff.
- I noticed that flag bug, I can't select my flag anymore myself hehe.
- The edit everyone's record is news to me too...

So what is this site displaying exactly?
If I select 'Overall Ranking' I see 186 pages, 3704 results. Surely more than 3700 people have played Wipeout HD?:?
yeah, we cant get all the times, would take too many time.
So we just take the first one, most important ones if you ask me
there is around 1000 or more times for each ranking, sometimes more sometimes less.
Not always up to date atm cause we are in holidays, but we'll keep this up to date the best we can.
and prolly before sunday it'll already be better

Great site! I have a small problem, though... I just registered, but can't add any new records. I had some of mine entered by others that I could update just fine, but nothing happens when I click on the "1", "3" or "10" buttons. Am I doing something wrong? :?
EDIT: The buttons are actually doing something, since I can see the website's DOM updating if I take a look at it, but either they aren't working correctly, or I don't know how to use them. :( Also, I see a lot of "undefined" (in the "record count" or the "number of results shown" fields) when filtering for a specific mode/track/speed/PSN ID combination.
I read through the guide at the top and the last couple of pages but found no answers to this problem apparently.
Same happens to me, I just entered 10 records and when I tried to add 10 more nothing happens, same with 1-3. I tried Safari, Firefox Mac :cold, Firefox Win :pc.

name in the filter, apply.
Then when you enter a new record, your name will be used by default!
That's what I do, but I sometimes enter other people's times ;) btw is there a reason why FEISAR and GOTEKI are uppercased unlike the other ships ? typo ?
Since WipEout HD is a PS3 game, I would be glad if Connavar's webpage would
also work with the PS3 browser. :| Keep it simple Conn, I mean, if you go
PC-only then we could also add some complex three-dimensional visualizations,
that will utilizes a quad core to some extend, of the given data. ;)
Damn, I accidentally entered my phantom Chenghou reverse single race time to Chenghou forward, and now I can't delete OR edit it, since the delete button is not there anymore and editing only seems to work if I improve on the time. :S
I guess I have to beat that time to fix this problem. :robot
Guys, for best javascript performance, use Safari (or maybe Chrome), it's
faster than Firefox, and a lot faster than Internet Explorer.
ProblemSolver: do we know exactly what the PS3 browser can and can't do?
I'm following standards ... best if Sony could improve the browser...
The website is actually more simple than it was before, but it's using a lot of
javascript now, that's probably the issue here ...

Thanks, Connavar! For now, chboing was kind enough to delete that record for me, so that particular occurence is fixed. :) I'll try to be doubly careful when entering times now.
What's going on with the Moa Therm Reverse / Phantom / Speel Lap record? I can't read the French comments, but is that a glitch?
