Fantastic! I thought I lost WipEout after just discovering it not more than two years ago! Congratulations on the new studio guys, I'm looking forward to your games!

EEEEEEEE!! *fanboy squeal*

This is fantastic, I hope they continue the WipEout series!

it should be noted probably that Sony still owns the WipEout brand so it's highly unlikely that sawfly will have anything to do with a new wipeout game unless they're directly contracted by sony to make it.

I agree, that was a awesome game, but in a unexpected way.
It impressed the whole gaming community, and other game makers alike.
I would love to see that sort of higher thought put into a new game by this studio, one that gives a emotionally, if not spiritually charged feeling for the player.

Nah, just had a second look, and judging by the comments, they will probably be releasing SlipStream GX. Y'know, once they've finished it.

@Ace3000: sorry but that comes from one of the guys on this forum, we're making SSGX entirely without industry help. Much as we would like to have official support from the old Wipeout makers we can't count on it and as ami has said there is no official wo sequel in known production.

Wait.... Hold on a second... I didn't know I work for Sawfly? Why didn't anyone tell me? :g

I hope Sawfly will bring us lots of fun games. All the best for them! :D

Oh, cool, but who is Sawfly? I don't remember creating whole SlipStream GX's code from ground up for someone like that (though i would love to)... anyway, that is awesome that Studio Liverpool is coming back to life!! :D

Four of the top developers from Studio Liverpool have started a new studio, they're not working on any racing games though. Here's the story:

I'm guessing WipEout is making a return for the PS4? Which is bad, because my family can't afford high-end gaming at the moment.

Hellfire_WZ

No, Sawfly are an independent studio and do not have access to the Wipeout IP.
