I'm right now very confused. Is this an attempt at humor? :? (A good one at that.:lol) Or is it code, a news report or something?

A yellowjacket made a tiny nest in my mailbox, I didn't know it. Got my mail, and got stung at the same time, surprising me enough so I didn't react quickly to crush it as it buzzed in front of my face for a second, taunting me and slowly flew off. Yellowjackets do not lose their stinger when they sting. The next day I open my mailbox, a single yellowjacket is sitting on the newly made nest again. 20 seconds later, after retrieving a small piece of cardboard from my car, the bug was transformed into a pancake.
One of my finest comeback victories

Very strange indeed.
