It's about time they switched to HD! But it is still a rumor, so I'm not going to give a strong opinion. Nintendo has done everything from motion control to glasses-free portable gaming. If they want to keep their core audience, they need to do more than just make it HD.

Oh man, I buy a Wii for Christmas thinking it'll last another couple years and then BAM this news hits the wire.

Hopefully we're getting a new F-Zero out of this.
