Who plays silly games in races....

Meaning it's not about winning the race its more about playing silly billy.:dizzy

things such as keep stopping to let someone fly by then shooting them but just for the fun of it cos you were like 10 seconds in front anyway..

driving right behind someone bumping them for the whole race.

braking in the chicanes

sideshifting a player for the whole race

these are just a few example i thought of im sure there are many more....

has anyone got a funny storys of things like this..

Every now and then I will go triakis on a venom race and just slam into people as much as possible. However, I learned (here) a few weeks ago that the ramming might not even show up for the people I think I am victimizing. Not so much fun now.

One thing I have wanted to do was organize a race where 7 people go Triakis and one person uses Icaras. Then select Venom and Metropia. The 7 Triakis racers all work together to try and stop the Icaras ship by blocking paths and using weapons.

The idea would be to see if they can destroy the Icaras ship once before it completes the race. If this isn't any fun initially, then all 8 racers go and take Oxycodone and try again.

Sounds cool. :D like tag ( but with missiles ) with who ever scores the kill then becoming the Icarus in the next race, id be up for it. that is if you dont mind :D

Not really a "silly game", but when the weapon hints are on and both me and another pilot get rockets/missiles/quakes we have a funny standoff that can last for laps, whoever's behind not wanting to shoot first and whoever's ahead not wanting to give up their weapon. :P

Also when racing noobies sometimes I will give them a 5-10 second head start. Depends on my mood whether I try to pass them with or without weapons :D

This would also make for a very fun single-player scenario if a future Wipeout game were to bring those back. Fusion had them, and while some of those scenarios were very difficult, I loved the concept.
