Favourite Fusion team

Do you have a/your favourite Fusion team/s?
My Top-3 is:

- Auricom
- EG-r
- Piranha

Auricom - Absolutely aggressive design, similar to a tank, and the colours are very balanced.
Very hard to pilot well but can gives great satisfactions: I love these kinds of ships.
For me it's the most realistic ship in Fusion, I don't know, but I feel this strange but sure sensation when I pilot this American beast.

EG-r - A bit overpowered, but absolutely nice: the shape design is fantastic too!
Great performances (excellent thrust and handling) and high shield resistance.
But I think that this ship results very unrealistic (overpowered skills).

Piranha - The most overrated Piranha in history?
But wonderful, I like the Fusion's design, unusual but very fast shape.
Weak shield, but fast!

I completely agree with Piranha and Eg-r as good teams. That's why they are my two favorite teams in the game.

What about Xios? they where the best. EG-R was great too.

Xios?
Good...but the full powered Xios is horrible, the shape's design don't feel absolutely like a WipEout ship!
I don't like the Xios design: the basic version looks like a flying jelly roll :lol.

To me, Xios is more balanced than Tigron and Piranha. It's like eg-r
I believe that the last four teams are way superior than the first four teams in terms of overall performance.

EG-r FTW indeed. Loved that ship, and all incarnations of it were nice imo. Especially the maxed out version with the red tint on the wind shield - nice touch that!

As for piloting it, I swear it did pseudo side shifts at times... or felt like it did anyway. I do miss the 2 player split screen madness, and the Power Swarm Special it had, those buggy machines made me laugh so much back in the day :D

It did have a unique "slidey" sort of feel to it (or at least I thought it did) which the other ships didn't have, which was another reason why it was my favourite too. :)

I'm pleased you noticed that too Mr Smadders, truth is, I've said that before somewhere on this forum but no one confirmed it so I thought, I musta been tripping or summat - but Jasmin Jade also noticed it, and now you said you experienced something like that too, so yeah, I wasn't going mad or anything. Thanks for that.

The only other ships I raced with were Van Uber and ofcourse - the awesmely brutish Piranha - I really love everything about Piranha, just a shame they don't like me much :lol

EG-r looked so effing mean, I fell in love with it on first glimpse - my girl is jealous coz she knows that... meh. :paperbag

My favourite Fusion teams are:

FEISAR (my fave team anyway)
Xios - Its super weapon (shield drain) means you can replenish your shield without going through the pit, and eliminate an opponent at the same time
Tigron - Handles like a pig on rollerskates on an oil slick, but has a rather strong shield
Piranha (though I dont use it much due to its fairly weak shields) - Good for getting to the front of the pack and staying there

To be honest, I only like few ships, which has been my favorite; FEISAR, Auricom, EG-r, and Piranha.

Loved the Xios and EG-R super weapons - both fun to use and potentially devastating. FEISAR, well they're my "local" team (in a very, very broad sense) so I have to support them.

I still play fusion sometimes. But only 2 player with my bro and he is a piranha man but I am a egr fan. I really like the music too. So cool its even better than the hD music I think.

I never liked the gtech one it was not for me.

My favorite is EG-R, for its smooth handling and awesome engine sound. (seriously, it's one of my favorite sounds, ever)

I played fusion again last night with my brother and I tried to barrel roll lol. The EGr is still the best for me. I did try Van Uber and Piranha but I flopped with them. EGr forever. :)

Xios was my favourite. It had unique design that I just loved back in the day :)
I think Fusion in general deserved more praise. Petty nobody seemed to like it.

Mine would be:
3rd. EG-R: Although it is a bit overrated in control, I immediately switched from FEISAR to this craft in the league races when I was able to unlock it. The weapon power is pretty good and has one of the best super-weapons in the game.

2nd. Piranha: No doubt the quickest craft in the game, it is a brilliant craft but too unstable for me and the shield power isn't that brilliant either.

1st. Xios: Well the best craft in Fusion imo. Stable, fast and fantastic weapon power this was the craft that was designed for the type of racing in the F9000.

If we're talking about performance, I'd likely go with Xios.

However, in terms of looks and personal preference, I'd probably go with EG-R, that ship looks amazing in all of its upgraded forms and performs almost as well as Xios and Tigron.

Haha Stevie, I actually went looking for my Fusion disk last night! Annoyingly it took me over 30 minutes to find it only to realise my PS3 cannot play PS2 games!!!

By then I gave up because I couldn't be bothered breaking out the PS2...

I'll do it one day, or maybe they'll stick it on PSN as a downloadable and make my life easier (unless it is already on there and I'm completely oblivious to it!)

I guess my fav from Fusion would have to be Xios. It seemed like a well balanced ship, with just a tad more on the top speed side of things.
Wasnt to fond of shield drain super weapon though. As far as super weapons go, my favs were Nitro Rocked - Tigron, and Seizmic Field from VanUber. (still remember the proper names - thats pretty good!)
