As i'm a newb, I'm not too sure about the rankings you get beside your name. How many posts are needed to advance e.t.c and is there any way to check how many u have and wat rank u are? ty :P

Number of posts and the rank name that accompanies both of them appear in every post. Advance in what? There are no prizes for post numbers and your reputation and how much other people like and respect you depend entirely on what you say and do, not on how many times you post. Don't worry about it. Please do not just post just to raise your post count. We frown on that, and if we are made to frown too much, we delete the pointless posts. :g

Also, when a newby asks questions, they've probably already been discussed in an existing thread, so please check before starting new threads that would break up discussion of an issue into multiple parts and places instead of keeping all the relevant info together. Make sure to read the guidelines, too, please.
