yes we haven`t seen you here or on Kai for a looooong time. I guess Pulse will bring you permanently back out of your Lion`s Den. Happy Birthday :)

since I was last here I have moved cities, bought and fully paid for a car (I don't think I had my MG when I last posted) and had a big fat payraise.
it's been too long.
I'm in a place with decent internet here, so I should be on kai a bit more often than I was at my last flat (dsl now running at maximum line speed both directions)

It's not so much the connection speed for Kai, it's the ping.

which is connection (upload) speedsorry to correct you there... but you're not quite right.
my upload speed is now somewhere around 800kbit (download varies, but gets up to about 7.5mbit sometimes), but it'll still take a few hundred milliseconds for the packets to get from NZ to the USA or the EU. my ping is gonna suck regardless :\ but at least it'll be more consistent :)
