I spent an hour or two on Pure a couple of months back, and just remembered I recorded this Iridia time trial. It's been a very long time, so I wasn't able to keep it completely clean for 5 laps (as if I was ever able to do that :lol), but it was nice playing again, and I might get back into it after I clear some more games from my backlog.

Hey everyone. I used to post some WO3 content way back when and really haven't touched any WipEouts (other than Omega just a few months ago) in nearly a decade. But Omega got my WO mojo flowing again. While I no longer have my old consoles, I did build a gaming PC over the summer and have been messing around with some emulators. Specifically ePSXe and PPSSPP >.> I'm doing a playthrough of Pure on my old WO3 channel and hitting every major tourney, TT, and Zone in all the speed classes including DLC ships and Tracks (EU version).
If you want to come along here's the channel:

Life keeps me busy but new vids go up Monday and Friday mornings and I have them planned out well into the new year. Just in case you were missing some fresh WO/Pure content. And who knows., I might try to jump back onto WO3. Cheers.

Hey guys, I'm not sure if I'm a little late in posting this, but I have a Pure video that I would like to share of me eliminating everybody in Citta Nuova.

Enjoy. Just don't mind the potato quality and that this wasn't played on actual hardware (and also the unenhanced ASMR controller sounds).

Haha that's great. You turned out to actually be good at the game as well.

Perfect demonstration of why racing games need timed checkpoints. One person like this in an online lobby can ruin the game for everyone.
Against AI though, fair play, well done :g

I think private rooms or a kick feature can solve that better than timed checkpoints. I remember once on Pulse when Stin and I were racing against some randoms on Rapier or Flash, then somebody cranked it up to Phantom and selected Outpost 7. The others weren't able to keep up at all and we were lapping them easily, but then both of us got too reckless and eliminated ourselves on the final lap. While we were waiting for the one remaining player to DNF, we were chatting on MSN, but they ended up finishing the race after 4 minutes. We had a proper good laugh at how slow they were, but then we had to hand it them, when it came down to it they beat us! :D

Apparently this method where you can eliminate everyone can also be done in Sinucit, and two of the Omega tracks, such as Cardcity Run (very difficult though) and Paris Hair (requires you to do it quickly).
