Anyone watching the Dakar?

Hey all, just wondering who's keeping up on the dakar? I personally wasn't aware that it was on this early in the year until just tonight when I flicked onto eurosport, oh well heh :oops:

OK so on tuesday Fabrizio Meoni, two time winner of the bike dakar (2001 & 2002) died after a crash, the bikes didn't race yesterday but are back at it today, check out the full story here (http://www.eurosport.com/home/pages/v4/l0/s239/e6746/sport_lng0_spo239_evt6746_sto673931.shtml).

don't watch it, jus heard of 2 dead (spanish & italian) & the crash of Colin McRae (my idol). Next year he's gonna be back with a really impressive car! mark my words :twisted:

aye, I was well unimpressed when Mcrae crashed out, just happened to be up near the front at the time to make it worse :roll:
