well, a few methods come immediately to mind.
look at the number of posts at the bottom of that stuff that's displayed under the usernames on the left of these pages and wait till every member has posted. then you're allowed one guess ;)

or you could look through the memberlist at the stats, cos the post numbers are shown there. the memberlist has everybody in the order in which they joined the new forum.

or you could just ask somebody directly and hope they know what they're talking about.

or you could look back up in this thread, cos the top two posters already posted in it. that's how those sneaky bastards work; they jump on a new topic as soon as one shows up

Since it fits the subject: I'm glad - in fact, this is one of the main reasons I registered in the first place - that this is one of the few boards were users don't post in order to raise their post count or for the mere reason of having just anything to say (although watching your percentage develop is actually fun). Cheers to the fact that the forum hit the 20000 without them! :)

and that's after i deleted 25 percent of everything DJ Techno posted. and i spent so much time answering his questions about four times each that my own post count went up at a ridiculous rate while he was here.

Thrusty, Al, Vince, and Joel have not regained the equivalent of their positions on the old EZ-board forums, where they were numbers 2, 3, 4, and 5 if i recall correctly with approximately 1000 for Thrusty and Al, and in the 600s for Vince and Joel. Rob was number one with 1410. i was a noob with 456, having been a member for about 5 and a half months by the time we moved to this new board. some of the people who were prominent before the move have faded out since. too bad.

i was talking about people like, mmm.... AmigoJack and Bernhard and others who have almost completely disappeared from the new forums and pretty much never post at all now. even Vinnie is here only very rarely. you have not faded, Thrusty, merely slacked ;)

yeah most of mine like the DJ's were deleted because they had nothing to do with anything, which inderstandable. i dont want to be on the list because it may seem as thouigh i havent got a social life and, god forbid, have a life without computers for about 4 hours :lol: :wink:

I actually quite liked the old Jabberjaw phase you went through. I remember the post you made re-introducing yourself as Jabberjaw, and I was laughing my frickin' head off! :lol:

It just seemed so out of character... the Al of those days was deadly serious, always talked racing and negcons, then suddenly you appear one day with this ditty about a shark and how it was "funny as hell!"
