New ZICO Challenge

call me insane or even pervert, but i have an idea of a new challenge. beat ZICO (30.82) with ur first lap! free choice of ship. that means: u have to start after 3,2,1,GO; no BSB-BR into lap; no boost-BR into lap; no boost into lap; no nothing into lap! ghost is required to proof ur lap to be legal! my best so far is 31.45 with ICARAS. little problem here, i don't know where to upload the ghosts.

This challenge does sound impossible. If you can't do it Jan being the current record holder, or at least the last time I checked, it will be very difficult. I might give it a shot but I won't be expecting any good results, my best with barrel rolls is 30.72!

wow, some fast replies here. it's a definitive possible challenge, otherwise i wouldn't have posted it here. it's still possible to do 5 BRs (6or7 with extreme luck) in the attempt to beat ZICO in the first lap. the 1 who will achieve this, can call herself/himself the true master, a real Z1CO!

But surely those additional BRs would be in such quick succession that they wouldn't count for much?

I'm pretty sure the boost over the start line is essential. But then, I'm not an Anulpha specialist...

@ Plazarou: the boost (and all variations of it) into lap makes it alot easier to get the ZICO-trophy, but it's not essential. i did my 31.45 first lap in TT-mode, followed by 2 ZICO-laps (30.4-5). that means i passed the start/finish-line with maxspeed of 460+Xkm/h. but u r right, it's a superhard challenge, and that's exactly the reason why i posted it here, cause the best WHD-pilots of the world come together in this forum. so i think here is the right place to announce it

you should post that challenge in arena section , i like it, i know i cant/wont do it, but i'll give it a try or too, and that'll be the first time i'll race @ that speed on that track since the real zico trophy

update: 31.36 with !6BRs! - ship: ICARAS. was a pretty poor lap with alot of minor mistakes. did !4BRs! in the tunnel section, but the last wasn't really good, so i lost a bit time there. update2: 31.18 - ICARAS - 5BR - 14SP. getting closer (0.36), but now i know it has to be a 6BR-lap to achieve my goal. it's even harder as i expected.

New zico challenge is nothing. Want a real challenge then do what i pulled off and thats win a race while listening to Bros-I owe you nothing..Now i know anything is possible.Walking on water is easy in comparison.

update3: 31.00 with ICARAS - 5BRs - 14SPs. BRs have become so easy now, not only online, even offline-BRs. almost every try is a success! i believe, i can defeat my own ZICO-WR (28.15) even without the ability of doing B-S-B-BR, cause the "extra-BRs" re alot easier now (still very hard, of course).

new update: 30.93 - ICARAS/F - 5BRs - 14SPs. will get it "soon", cause the double-BR onto the bridge is my new "friend". every1 who wants to know what im talking about, watch the video on "youtube" made by "phaeton_PL". he shows some great driving skills, and he shows almost every possible BR on anulpha>>>venom-class (as i know so far, he left out 3 other near impossible BRs).

Nice video, I never used that BR on the bridge, looks like it can cut some time!
At least it doesn't require any luck, contrary to some others, so it's a safe one.
