Koleax: the bot has terminated your time because it was too fast to be legit.
Either the total time or the fastest lap were too quick.

No. I'm still rather new compared to the rest of you and most of my times there are my first attempt, but I've learned to improve on some tracks more than others, like Ubermall. It's easier to use a lot of turbos in lower classes, especially on Moa. The only thing that surprises me is that the rest of you don't think it's legitimate.

I'm learning, however, that many people who care about times do not play a lot of multiplayer, perhaps thinking its random elements are unfair. So they do not have experience winning the turbo lottery and thus have a narrower conception of what times are possible.

Maybe my time is glitched. I don't think it looks that fast, compared to others that are believed legit. I certainly won't be able to do it every time. Philosophically, maybe that alone is enough for SL/TT aficionados to discount my time. I wish they would just say that they didn't like MP.

Connavar, then I'm assuming it was because of my best lap time, since my race time is close to what's on there, but my best lap time is not. As long as that is a different bot from the one you used for speed lap, then I wonder why SL hasn't done something similar with its boards.

Well I don't play SL or TT much and play MP all the time but I still think it is wrong.

You seem convinced it is a legit time Koleax so you should have the benifit of the doubt, although i should say if you can beat the best players so easily on this one track then it should transfer to the others without question. You won't see many random names up in the top ten, the names will keep repeating themselves over all tracks. It's cool if it's true, but there are a lot of people here (and a bot) who think it isn't. Sorry.

I agree about the top 3 MP Moa Venom times for 2 reasons.

    1. Who are those guys? I've played FREAKOFMETAL and he's just a casual eliminator player who probably likes FPS. Gatan78's other times are in the 400s and 500s.
    2. These top three records have best lap times that are close to 3 seconds better than 4th place (yeldar) and on. Pretty simple really.

Also if you look at places 11, 12 and 14 you see suspicious best lap times and unknown player IDs. So basically you can have legit looking glitched times but the key to weeding them out is looking at the best lap...

    ---
    Part deux:

Take a look at MP Chenghou Venom. Same situation as Moa. The top three times are "unknowns" and have insane best lap times. I'm sure there's many more instances...

    ---
    Edit:
The top 2 times on MP Vineta Venom are bogus. I'm re-entering some of these deleted MP records (not all of them... chboing is the man!)

more: top 3 times on MP Anulpha Venom...

I'm not sure that if you have a Best Lap glitched it belongs to the same Total Time race, for example
    Yeldar in Chenghou R/Venom/Multi has:
Conna Site: Total 1.44.88 - Best Lap 33.20
SL Leaderboard: Total 1.44.88 - Best Lap 19.68
his BL glitched in a second time probably, maybe he can confirm this.

I totally agree but the problem remains, if I have a glitched time in Best Lap for example, it will never update so for that track/class combo I can't have any record.

In conclusion the Leaderboards are not definitely fixed.
SL should recruit a Leaderboard expert IMO, rewrite totally this part of the game and release a patch.
Until that we'll read endless discussions about which time is legitimate or not.

It's essential for the game longevity!

    Hi Connavar,

still a question and some remarks,

The formula of the laptimes haven't changed; could you give me the formula for zone and detonator (for my excel sheet).

I've have given in all my records (440) also the bot-deleted ones and sank of course on the ranking because I really suck on zone and detonator (with 2 and 6 points ), still......

you say i should not delete my bad records. If you look in the rankinglist there are 2 people just above me: tumult with only 6 records and Wormwood with only 9 records.

Wouldn't it be fairer to make the rankingsystem independant of the gathered points? I mean with my very good 6 points at the detonatorrace, I have to put in 166 records to get one 1000 point record.

With your actual system you have to delete records to get higher on the ranking system. I still don't understand why you get points if you don't fill in a record. Now filling in no records is more appreciated than fill in (bad) records.

    Greetings
    prttoettoet

The formula will be tweaked a bit, but expect to be behind some better players
who have less records than you still ... the best way to go up in ranks is to
keep playing the game and improve the records where you have the least points

I know what you mean but do not completely agree. So I better delete all my records and leave the one in the 800's (lucky one) and I am higher on the ranking list.

Look at it this way: if you enter all your times now, sure you'll be low ranked
(but you're FAR from being last, right?) and then you improve them little by
little and you'll see yourself going up ranks, which should motivate you.

Now if you only keep the best ranks, what you'll have is an artificial global
ranking, not representing your true rank, is this what you want?
What's the fun in this? You won't even want to play anymore if you know you're
adding worse times and risk going down.

    Hi Connavar,

I will stop "complaning"and try to better my records .

New package has been sent, will be online soon I guess.

    1) Filters like column sorting, page # ... are now kept in memory, so you can
sort by total points in the overall rankings, then browse the pages.
    (prttoettoet you can do this!)

Also the < and > buttons keep those filters in memory, so if you go to page 5
then check someone's matrix then come back with <, it'll return to page 5!
Sounds stupid but it's very useful!

    2) Right click on someone => popup menu will appear and you can do:
    - view profile
    - view matrix (useful to quickly check someone's matrix)
    - select (= same as left click)

    3) Can view times in the matrix (wasn't working before) + can edit/add them
inside the matrix too (that was a requested feature, now it's done!).
Have to right click on a cell => EDIT or SELECT (same as left click)
This is SUPER USEFUL, thanks to whoever had the idea!

    4) Automatic clone time replacement.

This version was just about polishing the existing features, still need to
improve the chat a little bit, and the user page, and then we'll have the
    events page running!

    Hi Connavar!

It stared yesterday (I think) that I'm not able to utilize your service w/ my favorite browser (seamonkey 2) any more. IE8 works

The pages shows a static interface with working pull downs but without showing any results. No changes I do in the filters section will change it. It is stuck without showing any results. And yes I cleared caches/cookies allowed all scripts

    Error console shows this:
Warning: Use of getBoxObjectFor() is deprecated. Try to use element.getBoundingClientRect() if possible.

I'm going to download this browser and make the site work on it!
Already got Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome in addition to
Firefox of course, for that sole purpose

Edit: Everything works fine!! Maybe you disabled cookies or something?
