hmm, must be a release day, forums get awfully busy with all the praise and excitement pumping. Come on US store, drop this so we can play across the pond!

Some beautiful courses out there, had a quick blast on Zone and I'm sure there are some high scores possible.

    Eliminator looks fun too.

Will be trying online tonight, can't wait.

Loving every bit of Fury. Eliminator mode has some issues with low fps\stuttering but apart from that it's all good! Awesome work again SL. Btw, I made a thread with suggestions to future patches etc. over at http://www.wipeoutzone.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6515
Atm I miss an option to have a playlist with the new Fury soundtrack only

Apart for some screen tearing here and there and a slight sound difference, this pack is an absolute bliss! Great work SL! The menu is ACE aswell and the new modes are a ton of fun!

Go right ahead. I play most nights, not always Wipeout, but I do play a lot of KZ as well. Sounds like we'll get along just fine.

Wow, this is cool - after a Detonator event, the visual display beats in time with whatever music you happen to be playing, in my case, "19" by Paul Hardcastle

Ok, after playing around for a solid 2h30 hrs i am having a blast!

My gripe is that sound effects for the new ships seem wierd, it´s like we are constantly inside a tunnel and explosions are too high. If i use HD ships the sound is perfect again.

    Anyone noticed too?

I read on the blog post that the new ships had a second "glass panel" ( don't know the exact word ) on the cockpit, to give the feeling pilots were more protected. Maybe they also added sound effect on purpose Can't tell myself yet.

Maybe the red tails are something to bring out only on special occasions. I like that idea. Cause there's something about the few reds amongst all the blue that just looks cool. Doesn't work for me other way around.

Strange problem I'm experiencing... Was running speed laps on the new tracks and everything was fine. Hit the PS button to swith over to the XMB, as I had received a message. Upon opening the message my PS3 froze up. no biggie, it's happened many times. Restarted the PS3, read my message and fired up Fury again. Began a speed lap and woah...the sound effects, specifically the engine sound and the sound when going over speed pads is VERY loud all of a sudden...it sounds like I'm driving in a tunnel the whole time, but louder. I had not touched my volume or anything else. Hit pause and went to the audio options and saw that my music was set on 90% and the effects on 80%, which I assume is the default, as I have never messed with those settings. Tried lowering the effects volume, which helped a bit, BUT the woman's voice and any other sounds got much quieter too. All I know is something's not right and I have no clue as to why. Tried restarting my PS3 again, as well as turning my receiver off and on again, but it hasn't helped. Tried different tracks and different ships, but nope. Tested the sound through my cable box and it was normal. Has anyone else experience this? It's bugging the crap out of me...

That is my gripe, i already expressed it twice but it seems no one cares. Curious is it only happens with the new ships, if you use HD ships on the new tracks the sounds are ok and you only get the "tunnel sounds" once inside tunnels...
