Thanks alot
Thanks alot
That is without a doubt: two thumbs up! I love the third and fifth Pirhana and the third Goteki.
omg i love how u guys can make sunken and risen panels, i had a go at it, and it just ended up looking like a rectangle...
I had a quick go today (three hours) its my first real attempt at a skin so dont judge to harshly
Simple but elegant
yeah now that iv figured i can import the template in to photoshop im gonna try something a little more complicated. This skin editor is almost as addictive as the game I still cant believe the quality of sum of these skins u guys are doing
--------
Here are two more iv done today just quick ones mainly messing with colour combos. my basic idea for these is that they could be a kindof clan skin, same format for each one but different animal/logo,colour, flag and tag name. oh and it must keep the WZ (wipeoutzone)sponsor on the back lol.

Very nice Micky! Cool idea about the clan types of ships.
cheers mad-ice. its a shame pulse doesnt really hav the structure to support clans or team play for that matter. heres hoping the team aspect to HD is fully developed. Also i cant recall reading any info on there being a skin editor for HD. Wud be a shame if that feature was left out
Erm, I think something went wrong?
Hear, hear micky, so true!
mdhay: a little too grey for my taste. The ship just disappeares on these grey tracks.

"Clean" skins, aka no paint damage/no rust/no scratches.
The idea is from tioscarab at WipEout Arena. Unfortunately colours of his clean skins were sometimes wrong or there were bugs with the skin. Here are some I've made that do work, and the colours are the same as the original ships.
does changing the cockpit artwork actually change the cockpit in game?
lol you could put a smiley face on the pilots
No changing pilot art does not change it in-game. The slight color variation you see is due to the way I have used to get rid of the 'dirt'. It doesn't appear in the game.
I'm guessing you used Levels then did a select colour range and returned them to their usual colours?
I used levels to make a dirty ag-sys once.
If you're using Photoshop I guess that's how you would do it. I used GIMP
Picked a colour (Say the bright red of AGS), selected red paint damage regions (With 'Select regions with same colour' tool) and painted all these regions with the bright red. Repeated for every damage/etc. Then I made small adjustments for logos, arrows, vents, etc.
.
Gentlemen, let's keep this as a gallery, please, as set up in the starter post, rather than a discussion of editing methods. I believe we already have an editor discussion. And if we don't, we can always start one.
