Which SS BR is that? The one at the end? It's quite possible without you know
Also if you do it without SS you tend to hit the walls on the home straight less often. Never understood why though.

I usually screw up a lot before I get a good feeling of the track/speed/ship.
I did like 70 laps I think before I posted my first time for this week.

To get that perfect time though, it takes much more, last week I think I did 800 laps or so on AP, although it's harder on that track since I have to both get a near perfect line and nail those advanced BRs.

    New time: 24.60 - 3BRs - 9SPs - Mirage Fury

Yeh. For some reason, I really struggle to do left sideshift BR's, but can do right sideshift BR's almost all of the time... :S

it depends, i always do one session for the challenge (except if i feel later that i can improve quite easily), when i'm on good form it can be 10/20 laps for a good one or sometimes a 80/90 laps session
@Dark_Phantom_89 it's logical to me if you're a right hander, it's easier to do only one thing with your left hand (the left-right-left move as an example) than to add another move (the double tap on the trigger) with an other finger of the same hand. It needs a great coordination. And if you are more comfortable with your right hand, you also have less moves to do with it (just holding the thrust button) and only perform the double tap !

Usually 25-40 laps. That's usually how long it takes me to get the feel for the track at whatever speed and make a lap to a certain standard (ie: all BRs done cleanly, clean lines, minimal wall bashing ).

Unless we're talking about Sol2, it would take me 200-300 laps to do a good one.

About the last BR, I have trouble with left SSs too but I can do this one consistently by pitching up a little then SSing. Try it, it makes it easier.

Lol. I misread that been doing phantom for past 2 sessions. Was wondering why I was 2 secs quicker

    New time 24.93 10 sp 2 brs.

Hit the side right at start but did very good shortcut. So may be able to improve by another half or so.
I can still do the br into right hander before magstrip but not in a decent lap (keep to the 2 lines on right hand side of track and u need to pitch up ssright, not alot of space for br but wicked when it works.

Funny thing, after 4 laps I got 24.58, and after next 50 my best was between .64 - .72 (top 3).

    24.58 / 3 br's / 10 sp / fury

24.20 - 3brs - 10pads - fury. Finally worked out how to do the boost/BR at the start smoothly, managed to find some consistency for the left hander after landing the short cut and managed to nail the last BR on to the last SP. Always happy when I get in the top 10 .

    New time:

    24.36 / 3 br's / 10 sp / fury

(+/- 150 laps in this week)

Add 10 more laps and what you get?

    24.18 / 3 br's / 10 sp / fury

The same thing happens with me. Get a half decent time early on, spend the rest of the session trying to beat it, fail, 4 laps into the next session get half a second faster. weird.

when I play wipeout it do zone 90% of the time because it kicks ass!
but now I think it is time to increase my skills for sl so that i can kick ass online later on.

    ..... now that is

before I started this challenge I looked at my stats and it told me that i flew 16 rounds over this rev track....

and compered to my vineta K were i have 4000+ its not that mutch.
    (zone mode)

after +-20 rounds i got 26.05 with 2br and the fury ship have no clue how mutch speed pats, and i bumped in a few corners so a 22 will will come next, no kidding that is to fast for me but 25 or 24 should be posible with a perfect lap.

Hmm only 2 BRs Klocki? If so, great time! Is the last BR giving you trouble?

    Welcome aboard ZixXer!

I'm going to have a real shot at this later. Want to get into the 24.xx's.

EDIT: Final time of 24.60, 10SP's, 3BR's. A very sloppy shortcut BR landing, but it'll have to do
