Underworld - Born Slippy (Nuxx) is probably my favourite for Zone, but I also like The Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar and Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400.
Also, as a bit of a change, try Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone. I only use it because of the whole Zone mode and the lyrics say "highway to the danger zone..."

Ha, "Danger Zone." I bet that one's real fun.
Ladies and Gentlemen, you must try Corridon 12 with the version of Adam Freeland's "Fear" I linked to earlier in the Rez game data. It's known as "Area 5" in that selection. You know, it's the song that says, "Fear is a mindkiller!" every so often. Corridon 12 with its reflective hemispheres and folding shape, looks more like an abstraction of the brain, when listening to this song. You can get the sense that you're taking a journey through the brain/mind, all the while being reminded that fear will destroy you/it. It has great transitions through the zones all the way to Super-Zen. Please do it!
I just got to zone 74 on Syncopia last night with The Most Relaxing Classical Album in the World... Ever! Very surprised how nice it felt at Super-Zen. I wish I remembered the exact playlist, but I had it on random and some were actually appropriate for Mach 1, certainly not Grieg's "Morning" though. I almost need the slow classical on Syncopia now, because it takes so long for it to be challenging. You need something to keep you calm until it does.

How many music suggestion threads do we need? Shall there be a separate one for 'Music To Watch The 2.10 Commercials By"?

Well, there's still Detonator, which goes well with blippier music, like Symbion Project and Freezepop. For Time Trial it'd be nice to have music that's the right length at least. Don't get us off topic, Lance, or we really will have to start new threads for those.

Bioxeed is great for wipeout, but the live set he put up is particularly good for zone. Nice and long.

You guys try Jetstream by Doves, it's so 80's! There's also an instrumental version.
And maybe some Goa tracks for its slow development, it works for me!

This song is made for zone. Even the "Sub-venom" computer voices seem to belong to it. Made it to 90 on Syncopia with this one and Psygone - The Outer Limits.

Infected mushroom with "Vicous Delicious"
Best zone track I have, and I can warmly recommend it. The buildup is good and long, and when it finally reaches climax, it's well worth the wait!
Listen from about 4:00 into the vid, and you'll understand. Reaches it's peak at 5:50.

'Danger Zone' by Kenny Loggins. Yes, it's not very cool, but it seems to work. Maybe better in single race though.

For me the following helped me hit zone 75+ --> 1. Albatross by Fleetwood Mac, 2. Magnetic fields by Jean Michelle Jarre, 3. Oxygene by JMJ, 4. Something in the air by Thunderclap Newman, 5. Rollercoaster by The Grid, 6. Rez/Cowgirl by Underworld. Fleetwood mac is the one that i broke supersonic for the first time with. I find instead of having a tune that builds, you need one that stays calm, so once you hit subsonic you dont feel like the speed increases in a larger increment than it does (which is what happens when listening to prod or pendulum). Imho.

ZONE + trance music has made a dream come true, for me.
Up until this date, I'm incapable to express in words what the ZONE
mode means to me. The passion for trance music is rooted inside me
since I was a child. Combining your finest flavor of trance music with
ZONE can take you to the highest heights. For me, ZONE + trance
music is the one and only experience I ever felt satisfied with. Ever!
And it's the one and only experience I ever want to improve on ... for
the passion it creates inside me, a passion I can't let go of.
Guys 'n gals, I don't know if you can follow me on this....

Always found the Epworth Phones remix of Capital G by Nine Inch Nails utterly mindblowing in Zone - kicks in big style just as you hit Zone 30 if I remember rightly.
