Default What books do you read?

Suprising that this thread doesn't already exits ^^

The question is easy, what books do you currently read, or have read?

There are two stories I really like and would recommand:

Gone - a series of six (or five?) books. I really love them, was fun to read, although the setting wasn't always so friendly.

Tintenherz - or in English Inkheard - A Triology and honestly the only fantasy frachise I like (I pefer Sci-Fi).

I occasionally read some of the Percy Jackson books, very good stories with all the Greek mythology behind it to
My favorites have to be Sherlock Holmes books though, I love a good crime mystery investigation

I`m right into Dan Brown books but not read the latest atm (The Inferno I think)

Now, I did read the book called The Hunters by Chris Kunzneski and I`m planning to buy A Forbidden Tomb.

And I do really fancy Iain Poulter`s book call No Limits! (A golfer)

What is a book? I keep hearing people refer to this word.

Actually, I just got done reading the following: C++ Progammer's Guide, The Pragmatic Approach Towards Programming (which isn't a terrible read), and a home-style Indian cooking book.

Currently reading Alive by Paul Read for a novel study at English class. It's about a team of Uruguayan rugby players that get stranded on the Andes Mountains at South America.

Also, my copies of Python for Dummies and Java for Dummies have arrived, so I'm going to start learning to program as soon as I finish the novel study

Finally get the chance to read the frank Herbert Dune collection.

Dune is pretty awesome man. I read those in my twenties. Paul Atredes is a saviour type figure who is known as the mahdi in it... frank borrowed islamic eschatology for some of the themese in his trilogy.

I'm reading Herodotus' histories atm. The man was a legend in his own right.
