Default Check out these tiny ships i made...

when i started doing these- i had no idea it was a thing, and that you could print off pre-made designs & whatnot... i thought i was being original...

regardless- i think they're pretty cool (and a lot of fun to make!), so i thought i'd share with fellow Wipeout fans.

oh yeah, forgot to mention they are made from folded & glued card stock. (if it's not obvious)

thanks for all the compliments- makes me want to make more of them! (i have a couple more inspired by colony wars & starlancer, but no more wipeout crafts)

if i could make them faster, i'd try to sell them... i'm jobless... *freaks out*

thanks to the photo mode in this game, i had fantastic reference material! (embellished quite a bit on the undersides though)

    Great! Love them.
"made from folded & glued card stock" : wow, nice. In term of technic, is it kinda similar to origami ?

a bit- i blue-printed out the shapes (hardly any actual math was used- it was all in my head- hence why they aren't perfectly symetrical), assembled the general structure, and added things like the outer shells & boosters last. The paint jobs were absolutely the most time consuming part.

I actually started making the general shape of each from the rough poly models in an instruction booklet- the AG-Sys should be 'flatter'- and giving the Quirex it's HD look was somewhat of an afterthought, that i turned into an insanely time consuming project! I'm pretty proud of them though, i usually only do quick 30 minute sketches haha!
