Default Is using L1 & R1 as airbreaks eaiser or harder to use?

I don't know what control configuration you people use for the airbreaks on Wipeout HD Fury, but I don't know what is easier the default setting (L2-R2) or the original airbreak settings (L1-R1) from the old wipeout games?

L2 R2 for me, I find L1 R1 apply to much pressure on the airbrakes for me. The triggers let me apply a set amount of pressure so I don't lose as much speed in the corners.

played for years on l2r2, resulting in sore indexfinger. changing to l1r1 took less than an hour getting used to. and now i'm a happy camper!

@snakenator: Yeah better pressure control for airbreaks with L2/R2, which i think is really important.

But i think using L2/R2 is a little "harder". You can fail a sideshift more easily than with L1/R1.
But it's just a metter of getting use to it i guess, even if you will fail a little more with it. And i don't like using L2 or R2 to reset a lap, i don't find it intuitive.
I tred 2 times to play with L1/R1 but without success, i'm too used to L2/R2. And i feel that using L2/R2 gives me a way better position for my left thumb and so barrel rolling, using d-pad, which is my case.
(L1/R1 gives a more comfortable fingers position for those who use joysticks, i think. Correct me if i'm wrong)
    So L2/R2 for me, definitly.

I think everybody has trouble with the left SS br. Since you have to do all command with 1 hand, it's just a harder trick to pull off.
