At phantom speed that course is a joke - with an Icarus you just don't have enough shield points to get round a lap!

A lot of the problem is the undulations of the track - they're okay at low speeds, but once you get to Phantom you just skip along the track like a stone on water. I quite like the final sweeping bend before the drop, though - it's quite satisfying to nail that in a nice consistant curve.

undulations? even with zargz' skill, that qirex must have been slamming the heck out of those undulations even more than an icaras would. admittedly the purple q has more shields

The turbo scrapes are also totally heliish on that track. Definitely a rare mistake by the Leeds chaps there. Its still my fave classic track though - it can be sublime and totally frustrating.

If you could ever produce videos they would be brilliant to see. Particularly flying Terramax. I can convert to mpeg etc, maybe infox or someone can host them? Don`t think I ask this because I doubt you - there`s no question of that - I would just like to see the game played at its absolute limit.
