X Rebirth - latest in the X space sim series

I'm a massive fan of the X Universe games, there aren't enough space simulators around. This one has been making me giddy for a VERY long time, and it's finally only two weeks from release. It's obviously a PC game, but it look absolutely epic.

This looks really neat. I've been following Star Citizen, I-Novae's Infinity and Elite: Dangerous for quite some time now, but none of those games are looking to be released within the near future. Hopefully this one lives up to be as fun as it looks.

It's supposed to be a lot more accessible than the previous games, so it'll be interesting to see how the mechanics have changed. I remember picking up X2: The Threat for the first time and being completely overwhelmed by it to the point of selling it a couple of days later. Months later I thought I'd give it another go and ended up completely hooked.

Well, after all that hype I'm now very reluctant to pick it up as early indications seem to be that it is an absolute broken mess... Such a shame
