Post WipEout HD Character/Pilot Concept Fan Art

This probably belongs in the WipEout Fan Fiction & RPG forum, but It's mostly just a link thread and tribute to the series. As a huge fan, I would like to share some artwork and fan made concept art of characters/pilots on my youtube channel. These are characters I thought up myself for about a year ago, before SL closing and seeing Challenger001's own fan fiction of characters/pilots.

I'm going to school to do something like this for possibly gaming, so my art is alittle messy consisting on pencil drawing the outlines of a character and painting it on a dated photoshop, the cutouts on wallpapers are alittle rough. Here is the link to my video, or watch it here:

Tell me what you think. Maybe some characters are interesting and worthy enough to be on the other forum. I'll explain more on the description on youtube.

I will say, I'm very, very impressed by what you've got here. Clearly a lot of effort put into each pilot's apperence, history and so forth, and you went to the trouble for every FX350 team...I'm very impressed and I'm curious to see what else you'll be able to show.

I'd say more, but...tired...may say more later, till then, very nice work

I applaud you on your work. It's one thing to flesh out a handful of pilots, but 3 for each team is a real feat. I particularly like how you used The Sims 3 as a starting point and go on from there.

I'll be interested in what you develop from here.

EDIT: A little bit questionable with the number of Makanian pilots in the line-up, but if that's the result of the FX300 then that's okay.

Thank you so much for the appreciation, I was gonna put more pilot profiles on youtube, but my windows movie maker for some reason does not show video on the finish movie. The screen is blank yet it captures the video audio and pictures. Until I get it working again I will upload them, and if anyone else on here is interested in the character's backstories or if I feel like doing it, I may upload full pilot bios/backstories for some of them. I hope to get a better computer to run a more advance movie maker I have, and reupload the pilot profiles someday in better quality and visual.

As for keg_11's question: How I see the AG-Leagues or the WipEout Universe, it's such a popular sport that there are hundreds of pilots around the world competing, not just these 36 pilots alone. These are just pilots or squads that i'm focusing on from each team, so there Are more pilots from Makana competing, that are also Male, despite these 4 are all female. Also These four competed around the years of the FX350 and 400 leagues as the current year taking place is in 2212, just in the mid FX400 era. So basically, there just like a handful of pilots in a squad of 3 out of many in a team that I'm focused on or are interesting to me, out of the hundreds of pilots in the world competing. it's like a battleground where events are happening and squads from a team are sent to enter these tournaments whether the lead pilots or wingmen race alone or if its a team race, they'll choose their secondary or backup pilot to race with them. I hope it's not confusing and if that answers part of your question.

There's also a question I like to ask too. How do you have permission to post on the WipEout Fan-Fiction & RPG forum?

I think in time with enough posts you're able to access the Fanfiction and RPG forum. At least that's to my memory.

And it sounds like you've got quite a bit of a fanon setup in hypothetical championships during the FX350 and 400. It makes me curious to see what else you're going to post.

If I had to only name a single criticism, it would be that while the song selection itself is not bad, I have to put blame to how I now see every team thanks to Hellfire WZ's video on when he covered the history for every team, and I'd suggest if you were to do the same video again, to time certain music tracks to each team.

That video in question can be found at...
    http://youtu.be/7e4mDhaxj_M?t=1s

Then again you might have actually seen it given the order of the teams presented in this video reflect the order in HellfireWz's. But well, that's my only suggestion.

And well...that's all I've got for now.

    Till later.

Experience the dedicated themes of every one of my pilots/characters. All 3 are unlisted on Youtube, can only be seen here. Part 2 & 3 are below the first video:
Update (1-20-14): Sorry, but sometimes I don't realize what words I put in whenever I upload or publish something that confuse some people. Instead of unofficial, which I meant that they're not official songs made for the pilots/characters, but I meant "Dedicated". These are "dedicated" theme songs for these pilots/characters, is what I meant to say. At least I didn't make these for public viewing on YT.

I have some new announcements for my Youtube channel, including a new slideshow of wallpapers that I would like to share.

Also, for the forum, Is there anyway to post large images since I have a world map of all the tracks pinpoint from every WipEout Game (aside from WO64) that I would like to share on a new thread. If so, comment on here or send private message to me on my profile.

Thank you, and for some, stay tuned.

Great work there. The pilot color scheme fit well with the ships (while having some originality) and the world map is outstanding!

The forums rules suggest not to post large images because people with (s)low bandwidth would have a hard time loading these posts. However, granted you ask the permission to the administrators or the moderators I think you could include large images. That’s what happened for instance in this thread: http://www.wipeoutzone.com/forum/sho...(large-images)

Hellfire explained it in this topic: http://www.wipeoutzone.com/forum/sho...r-about-images

Thanks, I atleast know how to use the attachment option, but never knew how big the images should be. The map images are 3 to 4MB (megabytes) big. If these sizes are acceptable or need to be shrunk down, then expect another thread by me very soon.

Well it looks like I’m gonna bring back this thread on top again. For these past months I have not done anything that was WipEout related and I did move on from it until now seeing the development of Formula Fusion. However I also left my Youtube channel, not posting videos of personal art projects because of community college and gaming. But I’m back again at least for awhile to post another video uploaded on my YT Channel of a preview of what I’ll be sketching, drawing, painting and editing during my free time.

Though it’s not so much of pilot concepts this time, it’s now more of AG-Queen models/ female pilots/characters. What can I say; I like drawing females more than males because they have a lot of posing options when modeling and fun to draw. (I’m taking a life drawing class by the way) There will be more male concepts at some point.

For now there is a new video to check out.

http://youtu.be/mQbsz9Xn6ew (This Link does not work anymore because I replaced it.)

I might come up with new concepts for the upcoming Formula Fusion, introducing a new set of characters/pilots. Just need more info on the teams and setting.

I got a new video up now with more artwork of the AG-Queen Pilots. The link on top does not work because I deleted the preview video, so this one is the real thing.

I'll explain more from the video.
